...No. Just don't go there. Some people /actually/ have mental or physical disabilities, which are "problems" to most people. It's not a personal problem, it just means they prefer one voice with a certain one over the one you like them with.

I personally like KaiMei because the V1s all sound better with each other than with V2s or 3s. The engine has a very distinct sound.

Kaito is Meiko's subpart so they fit. And his voices matches with Meiko's better than Miku's.

They were literally made for eachother.

I'm not real fond of either, in all honesty, but I can't stand KAITO and MEIKO's voices together. I don't care if they were counterparts, it just doesn't sound right to me.

yoo im kinda the opposite of your preference

like im not too big on either (if you asked me which girl i liked best singing with kaito it would definitely be gumi), but meiko and kaito sound really gentle together for me and miku's voice sounds way too harsh compared to kaitos and its kinda difficult for me to listen to them together

i dont think ive ever seen someone not like how kaito and meiko sound together so im actually kinda curious to what you dislike about them

It's hard to explain, actually, but it just goes back to my dislike of MEIKO's voice. Usually, if there is a Vocaloid that I am not fond of, voice wise, I won't like any of their duets. MEIKO isn't an exception. Her voice isn't my cup of tea, whereas I really like KAITO's. On the matter with why I prefer his voice with Miku, between the two given choices, well, it's because I can tolerate Miku's voice. If I can tolerate it, then I will be "okay" with duets. With you mentioning how gentle the two sound together, well, I can see that; I just don't like the sound. It makes no sense, I know, but I'm just picky like that.

i can definitely see how someone could dislike meiko's voice (i know a few people who cant listen to her without getting a headache (sometimes shu-t is an exception to that)), and i kind of have a similar thing with mikus voice. her voice has a thing thats really hard to explain??? idk but it sounds a little bit layered to me. i have a hearing problem where any kind of layered sound makes me feel sick (which is actually part of the reason i dont go out in public much) and mikus voice triggers that a little bit

i still like it though, just like i can still like songs with strong harmonies. id just rather listen to something clearer (such as meiko)
