The rating in the House spot has been pretty bad lately too, and that spot has more than 14,000 fans! heeeresjoyce and I are the only ones who rate pretty much everything that goes into that spot.

Its not really unbelievable. There is a lot of selfishness going on right now around here. People want medals so they add heaps of crap then complain when it goes unrated even though they don't rate anything themselves. I think that annoys me the most.

I rate everything like I'm rating a bunch of repeated icons now. I totally understand what you say Missy but it's so annoying. I mean in the Mika spot there are more than 500 fans and nothing is getting rated.
And yes people is being a bit selfish but I don't think they're really being slefish at the house spot. Everything I post gets rated an all the other stuff gets rated too. Well but maybe it's just me...

I can kind of understand if there are very few fans to a certain group, but in most cases, it's the complete opposite.
I've got a ton of my fan art (mostly wallpapers that I created) added to spots like Johnny Depp (over 18,000 fans the last I looked), and there'a a few of them that may have 2 ratings, but most of my stuff is rated at all.
Sorry to say, my computer won't let me rate, or I'd definitely be doing it. The only time I can ever rate is the times I make it to the public library, and that's only if I can finish taking care of the other things I need to do within the whole whopping 2 hours that are allowed on their computers.

Sorry for the typos. I'd fix them, but I can't edit from this computer either. :(

i don't get whats so hard about rating i mean its one click thats all if you take the time to view it why not rate it i rate everything i view

It makes me understand why people would ask others to rate their contributions. I mean, no one else is doing the rating! Who will?
