Absolutely. I think he's a great character in terms of both aesthetics and personality. The latter of which is especially impressive because, in this movie, the characters were designed to represent their respective species rather than have fleshed out personalities. But I think their animal-inspired traits and mannerisms were done so well that the characters just ended up becoming really well defined anyway! And Bambi himself goes through a lot of different scenarios in the movie, where he gets to show a range of emotions and expressions, so it's really no wonder that his personality turned out so well. :)

And like I said I love his visual design too. I have always been amazed at the way all the characters in this movie are animated (this was really the first one where the Disney employees studied animals properly in order to learn how to animate them realistically and believably, and man did that pay off!). I especially love how awkward Bambi moves around when he is newly born! And his design, particularly as a fawn, is so adorable. <3
