Other information:
This film isn't the first time that the three Blue's Clues hosts worked together. They appeared together in the first episode of Blue's Clues & You!. They also sang together in the Natale episode of Blue's Clues & You!. They also sang together at a parade.
In the film, Steven and Donovan have a lot of scenes together. They are close Friends in real life, so they had a lot of fun working together.
Josh Dela Cruz was a big fan of BD Wong, so he was excited to be in a film with him.
In addition to being made for kids, the film is also made for people that grew up with the original series. The biggest scene that proves this is Steve's first scene in the film. When he appears, he looks at the screen and talks directly to the audience. From the commento he makes on how much the audience has grown, it's clear that he's talking to the fan that grew up watching him. A lot of fan of the original series watched the film just to see Steve return, so having a scene where Steve acknowledged them was a big deal.
