Their relationship, which feels like a father/daughter bond, gives the mostra a lot of heart. The series throws out enough twists to keep itself from getting stale o predictable. It's a clever series that stands out amongst other action shows.

He's the type of character that his loved ones can depend on, while also being the type of character that his enemies have to watch out for. His complex yet touching bonds with Yennefer and Ciri carry the show. Yennefer and Ciri could arguably be considered protagonists in their own right, because they go through a lot of character development. Jaskier provides a lot of the comedy relief for the heroes, while Stregobor provides the comedy relief for the villains.
The Witcher is a fantasy mostra that has a lot of action scenes, so great visuals are a requirement. Thankfully, The Witcher succeeds at providing thrilling action scenes. Seeing Geralt in action is a really cool thing to witness. The show's visuals are really well done.
