Ch.8 is finally here!!!! This chapter is a little different because of one little thing.
*Jamie and Sean are going to be communicating da a little, wonderful thing called the Internet!*
Chapter Eight[b]
For the successivo four days, Jamie and Sean had bonded pretty well and becoming friends, closer and closer every time they saw each other.
Every morning, when Jamie can get anytime alone to herself after suffering through hell with the kids, she went to the front steps to drink her cup of coffee and just relax until she can hear Sean’s pacing when he runs and before getting to his house successivo door, that man always stopped da Jamie’s and with his smell of his sweat, damp sandy brown hair, and those blue eyes of his and Unbelievable handsome smile on his face while Boyd was sniffing her non-stop, he always make her happy whether it was a long talk with her o Jamie letting him drink some of her coffee o just a hello and goodbye. After seeing him run off, with no crazy girls around and Jake was minding his own business in the same room as her, Jamie was thinking about that Sean Connors all day, thinking about his sweetness, brains, and that nice butt when his back was in front of her!
In the evening, Sean had cena with Jamie and the kids, always arriving at their front door with a big smile on his face while wearing his dress camicia and pants and in his hand was a little something he picked up after work for the girls who rubbed their sticky fingers all over Boyd who doesn’t mind at all because the girls loves playing with Boyd after having cena with their mother, brother, and Mr. Connors which changed to Mr. Sean when a few dinners passed by.
While staring at the girls playing with Boyd in front of them, with Jake bouncing on her lap and smiling whenever Sean was chatting with him, the both of them asked each other domande about their lives. It was easy for Jamie to tell Sean about her life from being born and raised in Chicago with her mom, dad and her sister to Washington where she went to college, met Michael, graduated and eventually married Michael and had three kids with him to a couple of other interesting things about her life but it was very hard to figured out what this Sean Connors.
He didn’t tell her much information about himself. The only things she learned from him that he’s 35 years old, born, raised and went to college in New York, his parents were not alive at the moment, had two sisters and a brother, adopted Boyd a few years fa at an animal shelter, and Washington is the only place he ever lived in beside New York. He never really talked about his personal life o his career and the worst thing was that when Jamie asked him about his job, Sean detto to her with a slight grin on his face, “Jamie, I still getting used to the job right now but when I get into it, I will tell te but I can give te some clues: It required long hours, I can help people, a whole lot of paperwork and I had to wear a suit and a tie most of the time.” After hearing about the clues he gave her, Jamie was starting to think that he could be a businessman o in law enforcement o some other career that involved a suit and a tie but she decided to think about it later and went to the personal life, mostly based on the ring on his finger.
When she asked him about that, Sean went all quiet and immediately, he detto to Jamie, “Jamie, I don’t want to talk about it and I had to go now. I had a great time with te guys and I will see te soon.” After he told her that, Jamie watched him telling Jake that he will see the little guy tomorrow and then, walking over to the girls, giving those little girls hugs and kisses, and with Boyd, he left and the successivo morning, Jamie didn’t saw him at all the successivo morning.
Thinking that Sean might be mad at her for asking him that question, Jamie was worried about him. She knew that she shouldn’t asked the man she knew for almost a week now about his personal life and she should do it later when the both of them were old and all of the kids goes to college but from thinking about it, Jamie started to think that something bad had occurred to someone he loves and he couldn’t get over it and avoided it at all times. Hopefully, someday, Sean could tell her about it and she could help him with it because she’s his friend and she cares about him.
After dropping the girls off at school and went to work to picked up something she needed to do and headed back home, with Jake in his playpen, playing with his toys, Jamie opened up her laptop on her desk, pumped it up, and when the laptop was up and running, Jamie grabbed the file on her desk, lifted up the manila folder, looked through the stack of papers inside there, and went to the Internet to start working.
Jamie wanted to work in advertising since she was a little girl and with her degree in advertising, she got a job at a local magazine, doing their ads, overlooking the work and putting them into the magazine every month. Unfortunately that she can’t worked at the office everyday because of her personal life, don’t wanting to leave her job, Jamie ended up working at home, going to the daily morning meeting and grabbed the things she needed for the giorno and left for home to work in her pjs the moment she came home, sit on her comfy chair and work as hard as possible on the work of the giorno without any annoying co-workers and a boss looking over her shoulder. Okay then, she does call her co-workers on things on the work and a least once a work, she had a talk with her boss but hey, it was all good.
The moment she got on the Internet, she went to her e-mails to see what type of crap she got recently and she looked through the mail, she saw something she didn’t expected. It was an e-mail from Sean with the subject: “Dinner yesterday”
Thinking that Sean really wanted to talk about last night, Jamie moved her topo, mouse to it, clicked on it, and disappointed that the e-mail came from a Yahoo! Account instead of one from his work, Jamie will never find out what his job is but now, she kind of don’t care about it right now, all she wanted to hear about what Sean was feeling about it and wanted to say that he was sorry about it. Plus, how he got her e-mail address? She never gave him one.

I’m so sorry about yesterday. After te asked me about my personal life, I just went blank because it made me think about that someone I loved and I loved her and cared about her so much and it was so hard on me that I needed some time alone. I don’t really want to talk about it right now because I am still recovering from it but I do want to talk to you. It wasn’t your fault! E-mail me back and sorry about that this didn’t came from my work address, I still wanted te to think about it even più and it will all come at the end!

After getting that e-mail, Jamie was happy that it wasn’t her fault and Sean wanted to talk to her about it and from the e-mail, Sean was still recovering from it but he was okay now. Maybe that she might be find out that giorno about it o not but now, she had to replay back to Sean and to do that, she clicked on the replay button and started typing her cuore out.

The moment she got that from Sean, thanking him for not asking her to blame Mac because her oldest daughter might cry that her mother was yelling at her, Jamie got to AIM and did the first move.

Jamie: Good! Still have those mountains of deskwork on your desk?

Jamie: Sean, actually I am not at the office. I am working at home right now with a cup of coffee and Jake telling me to stop texting te right now so he is my boss right now! Also, are te a cop?

Jamie: te know, gun, badge, mountains of paperwork, a work partner and let me guess that your boss is a captain?
Sean: te watched too much cop shows, don’t you?
Jamie: Yeah, I watched some! What, te hated people who watched CSI: and Law and Order and Bones? If te are, don’t hate me because those were my preferito TV shows!
Sean: Kinda of! I hated crime-shows addicts sometimes. Trying to help out the cops and eventually get into trouble half the time. They shouldn’t mind their own businesses and let us professionals do the dirty work but I do loves Bones and L&O: SVU! Temperance Brennan and Olivia Benson are some fine women! Plus, te do look like Temperance Brennan! te guys had the same eyes and hair and smile!
Jamie: Thanks for the compliment! People do told me that I looked like her! Thanks Sean!
Sean: No problem, Jamie! I like making people happy da giving them compliments. I used to give my wife one note each morning before I goes to work, saying something sweet about her whatever it was her eyes, smile, o the way she kissed me. She told me it made her think about me all day!

Before she had a chance to sign off, Jamie got another text message from Sean who just came back after telling her something that he doesn’t want to tell anybody yet.

Jamie: Oh, sorry about that. I shouldn’t pressured te on that. I’m so sorry!

Sean: Yeah, want to meet me for lunch today?
This time, Jamie was very quiet about this. This is the first time that the two of them were having something to eat together without any kids around well expect that today will not that because Jake had to be with them today because the person who usually watched him for her when Jamie needed some serious adult-time with an adult but most of them were with Michael o Julie but now, today, it is the first one with Sean and without any thinking, Jamie typed più down.
Jamie: Sure, Sean. I Amore to have lunch with you. Where?
Sean: My partner told me about this commensale, diner called The Royal commensale, diner a few blocks away from my workplace. He told me that it had the best burgers and mela, apple pie in the district! Wanna go?
Jamie: YUM! I Amore that place and I would Amore to go but I got a problem.
Sean: What is the problem?
Jamie: Jake had to come with us.
Sean: Oh, that’s okay with me. Jake had some of his baby teeth yet?
Jamie: Yeah, why are te asking?
Sean: Because when Jake was eating some French Fries while te are making him eat some frutta slices, te and me will have a nice lunch.
Jamie: That sounded nice! What time te want to meet te there?
Sean: Let see, how about noon?
Jamie: Sounded good.
Sean: Awesome! Meet te there and te will find out about my job once and for all!
