Chapter 1
“What! We’re moving?!”
Aria stares at her father, Thomas, with disbelief and utter horror. Thomas sat in his preferito seat; a maroon armrest chair with soft kind of fabric that made it hard not to touch. His shoulder length silver layered hair and black framed glasses that went over his gray eyes made him look like the plain glasses business man that he was. Aria stood in the middle of their living wearing her red and black hooded felpa with white lines on the forearm of the sleeve. The end of the long sleeves had red and black stripes that could stretch out. Her gonna was down to her mid-thigh, a bit too short for her father’s taste but knew it would just lead to another argument and that was something he could not deal with at the moment. So he paid attention to the argument that was about to happen
.
“Yes, that’s right. We’re moving.” He repeated and Aria looked into her father’s eyes, hoping to find some humor in them, proving it was all just a joke but the seriousness that was there instead proved her wrong.
“But why? Why do we have to sposta again?” She asked but it sounded più like she was whining più than anything. Thomas sighed, hearing the argument getting closer.
“You know why. It is the same reason we moved last time. It’s my –” Before he could finish, daughter finished for him
.
“I know, I know! It’s your job! But why do I have to suffer for your career?” She said, her voice rising as she continued to talk, “I finally made some great Friends and now I have to leave them? You’ve got to be kidding me! Why can’t te just leave and I’ll stay here. I can live with one of my friends. I’m sure they won’t mind.”
Thomas shook his head, disapproving of the idea. “No, I’m afraid I cannot allow that. te are only 17 years old, too young to be living on your own o with someone else. Especially not with a boy.”
Aria rolled her eyes, knowing exactly who he was talking about. “Sebastian is just a friend that I hang out with. Chill, okay?”
“I see the way he looks at te when you’re not looking. I know that look very well.” Thomas detto as he crossed his arms and nodded his head. Aria groaned as she tilted her head back, no longer able to look at her father.
“Please dad, there must be something wrong with your glasses o maybe te should just get your eyes checked again. te obviously don’t know anything.”
“Oh yeah? What is that?” He challenged her.
“Because he is gay!” She stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. “He likes guys, not girls. Try getting your facts straight before te start assuming things.” This time, she crossed her arms as she frowned at him. For a few seconds, he didn’t say anything but then he sighed and scratched the back of his head.
“Fine, so maybe I was a little bit off.” He admitted.
“More like way off…” She muttered and he frowned at her.
“But that still doesn’t change the fact that we are all moving.”
Aria stomped her right foot in frustration. “Don’t te care about how I feel about this? Do te have any idea how much this impact on my life? I’m tired of moving from place to place! Why can’t we just stick in one place and live our lives there?”
Thomas sighs again. “You know I have no choice in the matter. I need this job and I can’t afford to quit. You’re just gonna have to accept it like your brother has.”
“Shane is 7 years old! He doesn’t care where he goes! He makes Friends faster than I do.” She shouts, getting upset and angry. Her father frowned even more.
“Don’t raise your voice at me young lady! te know I have no choice. We leave in a week so I suggest te use that week to spend as much time with your Friends as possible.” He detto with a voice that detto ‘End of discussion’. Aria let a frustration cry and stormed out of the room towards the stairs.
“If mom was here, she would let me stay!” She detto and ran upstairs to her room, slamming the door behind her. Thomas sighs as he looked over at the bacheca covered with pictures from when Aria was little and much più happier then she was now. Along with pictures of a woman with waist long black hair and Cioccolato brown eyes. She was smiling with toddler Aria in her arms and him standing behind them, smiling with them. He sighed, wishing he could turn back time and go back to those happy days. But a few months after Shane was born, she became very ill and very weak. Soon, their mother passed away, leaving him to take care of their two children da himself. Afterwards, Aria became più distant and locked herself in her room often. He tried to make up for their mother but knew it just wasn’t the same. Dating didn’t help since Aria hated every woman he tried dating and did her best to sabotage every date. He soon found it pointless to data anyone since Aria would not accept anyone but her mother.
Thomas got te and walked over to his wedding picture. He was scratching the back of his head, embarrassed, while his other arm was wrapped around his new wife’s waist. She looked stunning in her white strapless dress that flowed down to her ankles.
“Oh Cleo, if only te were still here, te would know what to do.” He touched her picture and closed his eyes, head down with sadness.
Aria flopped face first onto her twin sized letto and screamed into her pillow. She flipped over and stared up at her pesca, peach colored ceiling. She thought about calling her Friends and telling them the terrible news but just couldn’t bring herself to do it. Her mind and ears still couldn’t believe what they just heard. She couldn’t even count how many times they had to sposta and how many Friends she had to say good bye to. They would all try to keep in contact but it kept getting harder and harder till they just stopped talking all together. She was tired of it happening and wanted nothing più than to live one place and make permanent Friends and maybe even get a boyfriend while she was at it. But because of her father’s job, they had to keep moving. They never stayed in the same place for più than one year; a anno and half if she got lucky. When her mother was still alive, they stayed in a small town and Thomas worked as an English teacher in a high school while her mother worked as a pastry chef. She worked at home and made all kinds of sweets for many customers. From birthday cakes to wedding cakes that were almost as tall as her. Aria smiled at the memory of her mother getting icing on her face and not noticing until aria pointed it out.
‘Mom, are te watching? I’m suffering because of dad’s new job. Why he quit his teaching job after te were gone, I’ll never understand.’ She thought and then sat up, sadness in her pale green eyes. Aria got up and walked over to her body sized mirror and ran her hand through neck length black hair that was longer in the front with three black hair pins on the left. Her bangs covered some of her thin black eyebrows and were parted on the left. Her jet black chocker was a silver buckle in the front was snug around her neck, but that wasn’t the only thing around her neck. Aria pulled out the collana that was hiding inside her sweatshirt. At the end of the thin silver chain was a round crystal gem surrounded da small diamonds. She held up the gem and watched as the light in her room reflected off the gem and made it sparkle. Aria couldn’t help the smile that appeared on her lips.
“Mom’s necklace; the only thing left I have to remember her by. Well that, and the lullabies that she use to sing to me.” She closed her eyes and started humming and calming tune. She opened her eyes and walked to the window, opening the window to let in a cooling breeze.
“I guess this will be the last week I will ever get to see of this place…” She folded her arms on the window foca, guarnizione and rested her head on her arms, letting the calming breeze brush her face and the sweet smell of ciliegia blossom from the ciliegia blossom albero right outside her window. She really liked the albero and would probably miss it the most about this house. All the times she would read o write under the albero helped her think più clearly and be più at ease.
Aria glanced behind her at her door, making sure her dad o her brother was going to come in, before sliding herself out the window and sit on the window seal, looking down. This wasn’t her first time doing it. She has done it plenty of times despite being on the secondo floor. The first few times, she either got a cut o a bruise, but after practice, she became a pro at it. So when she slid off the window, she landed on her feet, bending her knees as well to keep herself from breaking any bones. Aria walked over to the albero and sat underneath its ciliegia blossom, leaning her back against the tronco and stretching out her legs, already feeling at ease. She remembered how much her mother loved ciliegia blossom trees and that she would always look inoltrare, avanti to them in the spring.
“I guess if our new house doesn’t have a ciliegia blossom tree, I could always plant one.” She detto in a soft voice. She rested her on one of its roots and stroked it gently. “I’m going to miss you. Thank te for your calming aura. I hope the successivo owner will take good care of you.”
The wind moved the albero branches, shaking some of the ciliegia blossoms onto Aria but she didn’t mind. She actually liked getting them on her. It made her smile, feeling as if this was the tree’s way of cheering her up. She leaned her head back and stared through the branches to see a few rays of sunlight and some parts of the blue sky, wondering if she will still be able to have nice weather like these.
‘In one week, my life will change…again.’

When I woke up I was on a cement floor. My head felt terrible pain and I saw that I had some black and blue on my leg.
''Finally, te woke up. I have been waiting for your name.'' A voice detto behind me. I turned around and screamed the sream that sounds like a dying llama. ''Billiam Fergunsun!'' I yelled in rage. ''Yes, tis I ,Billiam Fergunsun."
He is such an idiot. I stood up and brought my knee to his pee-hole and he screamed like a little girl. "Girl power!" I screamed. I didn't notice his friends.
They almost hit me when I heard someone scream now! and I felt light headed and everything went dark again.

TOADSTEP PVO
What just happened what kind of dream was that? Toadstep wondered.
He couldn't believe he just dreamed that he loved Dovewing più than Ivypool. He shook his head vigourously trying to get the thought out of his mind. Ivypool was lying beside him and dreaming too, she mustn't of heard him call out his dream.
Thank god! Toadstep thought with relief.
He nudged his mate and she got up, "Morning, Toadstep." She purred rubbing her face against Toadstep's..
Everything is going to be okay, Toadstep you'll be fine, as long as she doesn't find out about the dream.

Can I help if I am messy?
Can I help if I forget?
Yes I can.
Can I help if I mouth off?
Can I help if I cuss?
Again, yes.
Can I help if te screech?
Can I help if te blather?
No.
Can I help if you're a hypocrite?
Can I help if te overreact?
No, not really.
Can I help if te yell at me, for no good reason?
Can I help if te punish me for rolling my eyes?
Lord knows no.
True, I can help some bad things I do.
But the worst thing of all.
That I possibly can do.
Is waste giorno after day.
Of putting up with you.

You’re the reason why
I have to lie
Why I hurt so much
That my heart’s in a clutch
I’m slowly dying
‘Cause of your lying
te used to be my magic
But now you’re a dick
te made me long to be
Everything that wasn’t Lee
But look where that got me
Locked in without a key
If only te knew
That I plummeted deeper than blue
But then again
You’re just another two timing has been
te ran away
Thinking it’d be okay
But te were wrong
più so than any Amore song
te made me want to sing
With te following
But look at how wrong I was
Believing te that it was just “buzz”
Now you’re the reason why
I cannot do anything but cry
I have to lie
Why I hurt so much
That my heart’s in a clutch
I’m slowly dying
‘Cause of your lying
te used to be my magic

Now you’re the reason why
I cannot do anything but cry
I felt them start to build up
As soon as I saw him
I put on a happy face for my mom
Because she doesn’t know
That he broke my heart
She didn’t know that I balled my eyes out
She hasn’t realized that I’ve withdrawn
He says he wants us to be friends
I could barely hold them back
He asked if I understood
And I do
But that doesn’t stop the pain and anger
I blink back the tears
And realize that I was starting to put a shield up
My shield of anger
I feel the tears
As I pray
That God will help me this time
So I don’t isolate myself again
And don’t lose myself
Tears……
They come and I can’t stop them
I hate them
They are a weakness
and I can’t stop them
As soon as I saw him
I put on a happy face for my mom
Because she doesn’t know
That he broke my heart
She didn’t know that I balled my eyes out
She hasn’t realized that I’ve withdrawn

Violently, the ground shook,
As the mountain exhaled black smoke.
Overwhelmed, they ran for cover,
Those left began to choke.
Cherished, were the possessions left behind,
Melted and scattered as ash.
Beloved, the children lost,
They couldn’t make a veloce, swift dash.
Darkened, the cloudy heavens above,
Black clouds fell from the sky.
Covered, the people escaping,
With no way out they began to die.
Lost, the souls of the trapped,
A snatched half-chance at life.
Fallen is Pompeii;
Civilisation, Amore and it’s people’s cries.
As the mountain exhaled black smoke.
Overwhelmed, they ran for cover,

Cherished, were the possessions left behind,
Melted and scattered as ash.
