I understand what makes it sound so much better to me, but Sprite sounds just fine. Sprite is much better than Ariel. Shadowcat is totally awesome, and makes her sound like the ninja she practically was when she adopted the name in the first place.

^Sprite is a kind of fairy. But it makes me think of the drink. lol It's better than Ariel though. That's way too obscure a Shakespearean reference for me and of course makes me think of the Little Mermaid. Although in their defense, Kitty went by that name long before the Disney version of the Little Mermaid came out.

Shadowcat is a great name. It sounds cool and incorporates her real name.
