Yoo Seung-ho’s comeback imminent 

Actor Yoo Seung-ho is ready to come back to the Korean entertainment scene, with only a week left for his completion of the mandatory military duty.

“Yoo Seung-ho is enjoying his last vacation from the military duty and spending a quiet time with his family,” a spokesperson for the actor was quoted as saying during an interview with a local media outlet on Wednesday.

“Yoo will be discharged on Dec. 4 and share stories about his military life and future career plans with the media,” the spokesperson added.

The actor is to participate in his first official schedule on Dec. 21, holding a meeting with 500 fans in Korea. Later, Yoo will visit Tokyo, Japan, on Dec. 24-25 for another fan meeting.

The 21-year-old celebrity has not yet decided on his next drama or movie amid rumors that he may be returning with director Kim Dae-seung’s film “Joseon Magician.”

“It is true that Yoo is more likely to return through the silver screen rather than drama, but nothing has yet been confirmed,” the actor’s agency was quoted as saying.

Regardless of his choice, the entertainment industry is keeping a keen watch on Yoo and his comeback.

“Yoo has become one of the most appealing choices among male actors. Serving his military duty and washing off his image as a ‘young boy,’ he will be offered various choices in both dramas and movies,” an official of a drama production company said.
