"And what exactly are these 'heroes' giving us nthing but destruction for property damage!" the news reported yelled at the camera. Caleb looked at the TV to his sister sitting on their divano then the Tv and his sister. She had a placid face while she ate her cereal. "Day why are te watching the news?" he asked her. "I hate this guy" she answered still watching him. "Then why are te listening to him?" Caleb shook his head.

"i don't know but he pisses me off" she glared. Sitting down with his crostini, pane tostato he grabbed the remote. "okay let's watch some cartoons!" he flipped through channels. "see lets watch looney Tunes!" he threw his hands up. "Caleb I'm not a little kid anymore just because te say something happily doesn't make it good" she gave him a bored look. "Yes it does" he pouted "than mass murdering must be a great thing considering the Joker" she snatched the remote back.

"Day" he spoke warningly. "caleb" she repeated. "Day seriously" he rolled his eyes. "Caleb!" she shrieked. "What's wrong!?" he panicked. "how are bambini made?" she blinked at him. "D-day te get health class in high school! why are te a-asking me?" he was flustered his cheeks rosa his eyes wide and his hands shaking. "But I wanna know" she titled her head. "Day this is not funny" he felt his throat close. "your right this isn't funny" she shook her head her face completely serous. "Day this really is not funny" Caleb gulped. "I know it's not funny" she nodded. She reached behind her and then he saw a flash and heard a click.

When the lights in his eyes subsided he saw his younger sister grinning. "it's fucking hilarious look at your face!" she turned the Camera. "Day I thought te were serious!" he yelled. "I'm not an idiot Caleb I know where bambini come from" she rolled her eyes she really couldn't believe her brother fell for that. "What? Did te already have health class?" he blinked. "Caleb, seriously? Are te that dumb nobody gets the talk anymore the internet tells us" she patted his head and got up. "Don't te have a job te need to be getting ready for?" she turned. "Huh? Oh my god your right go get ready Day!" and then he ran off.

"aye aye sir" she waved and disappeared into her room. Caleb's job was small but it payed well. Caleb worked at the scrivania, reception in a book store. The boss and the co-workers didn't seem to mind that he was only 17 and that più often than not he brought his little sister with him. In fact Marie another scrivania, reception worker who was the same age as her brother loved Day.

"hey Marie!" she darted over. "oh hi giorno how is it going?" she smiled. "good look at Caleb's face!" she grinned shoving the Camera forward. "How did te get him to make that face?" she asked the teen successivo to her. She was well aware that giorno was a trouble maker but she was also aware that giorno was being the pest of a little sister. "I asked him where bambini came from" she smiled proudly. "poor Caleb" she laughed. "She is going to be the death of me" Caleb growled as he slipped in behind the desk.

"oh your over exaggerating it" she grinned "i never exaggerate anything!" he gasped. "lair lair pants on fire" she whispered. "Oh Marie I meant to ask if te wanted to come with me and my sister to the zoo" he smiled. "We're going to the zoo?" giorno blinked. Caleb placed his hand on her face and pushed her back. "i would Amore to!" Marie grinned. "it's a data then!" Caleb smiled quickly. "I mean te know it's" he tripped over words. "no I get it but really thanks I needed a little vacation" she put her hand on his. "Get a room!" giorno hissed.

"Day?" Caleb gave a fake smile "yeah?". "Shut up" he turned. "Hey Caleb?" she titled her head "yes?" he paused looking at his sister like she was going to throw something at him. "can I ever date?" she asked. "no"

"then how come-"
"Day your never dating and if a boy so much touches te the wrong way I'll shoot him"
"you don't own a gun"
"I'll shoot him Day" he glared.

"It's not like I would data anyways" she shrugged and picked up a magazine. Caleb rolled his eyes and smiled as a customer came up about 3 hours passed. "Caleb I'm gonna go get some water" and then giorno got up and went to go find a water fountain. "she's sweet" Marie smiled. "She's a pain in the butt" Caleb sighed as he flipped through a book with numbers and titles. "still I think she can be sweet" Maried smiled at him. "yeah she has her moments" he yawned a little. "how long until our shift is over?" he blinked tiredly. "Only about 10 più minuti can te manage?" she smiled.
"thank god I really want to go home" he put his head on the desk.

"hey Caleb" giorno blinked at her brother as they sat in a coffee shop. "hm?" he sipped his coffee. "Your a Junior so you'll be graduating successivo year. How are we gonna afford college?" she looked up. "Day don't worry about it" he placed the cup down. "but-" she started "Day! There is a chance I won't go to college but I don't want to talk about it right now" he looked up at her. he doesn't want me worry. I'm not stupid I know we aren't rich and that there is no way Dad's going to help pay for college . She narrowed her eyes. "come on let's go home" he smiled and they went to the parking lot and climbed on the bike.

"Caleb who's car is that?" giorno pointed to the pickup truck that looked out of place. "i don't know" Caleb wrapped his hand around hers and led her across the street. "I'm not a baby caleb" she laughed and ran ahead into the lobby and the elevator. He laughed and raced after her. He took a diffrent elevator up and waited before racing down the hall. Their door was open.

"Who are you?" he heard giorno ask. Frowning he raced into the room and narrowed his eyes. "Day get away from him" he pulled her behind him. "Caleb who is he?' she frowned. "I'm your father. Listen the court detto I should be taking care of te and your sister until your both of age." he paused. "I'm not letting you-" he was cut off. "Don't get that idea I'm not going to. Your almost and 18 and why would I take care of her" he glared at Day. "but te will be getting a bit più money so don't waist it. Good bye" and then he passed his eyes lingering on Day. "oh and Caleb?" he turned "yeah?" Caleb snapped. "I have eyes every where te break the rule and somebody gets hurt" his gaze flickered to Day.

"Get out" he growled. And the man left. "Who was he!?" giorno jumped out. "Dad" he answered. "Day I want te to stay away from him if te see him fallowing te o if someone shady fallowing te run. Run, call the cops o fight back if they grab te okay" he ruffled her hair. "Why would he want to hurt me o you?" she asked. "that's for te to wonder and for me to know we are skipping patrol tonight wanna watch a movie?" he asked.

She shrugged and at the end of the film he could feel Day's breathing level out.It was a close call but everything was all right.
