You see The goddess of the earth, Life and Death is Omega (in my story line) who is using Phoebe as a vessel, hence how Phoebe is seen as a Godess, because she has the knowlage and power of one. The most important part to remember is Omega is made of one part the soul of God one part soul of Death which means she has two very different sides to her. Omega can pick and choose when she posses eclipse depending in the situation but relating back to blades comic Phoebe retook control of her body just before Omega was about to kill Dylan because Dylan is important to Phoebe.
