You, Jessica, and Tanya all sit together in the cafeteria, wondering where Lauren is.

Jessica: I mean I've seen her today. But where is she?

te and Lauren are at the back of the cafeteria and Lauren gives a big gulp of breathe and starts crying. te comfort Lauren and she says:

Lauren: I'm so sorry...
Jamie: It's ok. Tell me, what's wrong Lauren?
Lauren: It's...it's Randy.
Jamie: What about him?
Lauren: I can't be without him...I just can't.
Jamie: ...
Lauren: Jamie...I need Randy.
Jamie: ...
Lauren: I know you're going through a rough time but don't be so selfish...I'm going through a rough time too.
Jamie: ...

te and Randy both go to the lake together and instead of going in the boat, te two just stand on the little pier, looking at the lake.

Jamie: Needed someone...as in like te NEED them...as if te were so dependent on them that without them, your life feels like it's slowly draining from the tip of your fingers?

Jamie: ...*sigh* I think I'm like that right now.

Jamie: If I think about it, if I never met te I probably would've met no one. I would've shunned everyone from me as my time got closer. I would've let no one in me, to get to me. Ever since I knew I had leukemia, I trained myself to be as tough as stone. And everything was going good. I was independent. I didn't need anyone. I was so strong that I even thought I didn't need my grandma. But now...I'm dependent on...on YOU. I need te and I'm like a little kid again.
Randy: *smile*
Jamie: But Randy...understand that I have to...I have to be independent.
Randy: ...
Jamie: I need to be on my own.
Randy: Are te leaving me?
Jamie: Don't say it like that Randy. I mean we'll still be Friends it's just...I don't want this relationship to go any further...

Randy: Jamie...please...please don't leave me.
Jamie: Randy stop this. I told you, Lauren needs te the way Shawn needs me.
Randy: Then let Lauren and Shawn leech off each other...I...I need to be with you. What about MY needs? Why is always Lauren's needs?
