If te are looking for a break from vampire libri try the "Belgariad" series da David Eddings. That series is probably the best series he has written.

the "secret circle" libri da L.smith are good,fantasy/romance kinda thing."maximum ride" libri da james patterson are good too.also the "gifted" series are ment to be good but i havnt read them so i cant comment
