Just re-watched the 2x22 baciare scene:') Oh jeez, I was near crying! I was always so focused and happy over the baciare that the rest of the scene kind of went da me. But now I finally realize just how beautiful the scene really is. The way she snuggles up against him, devastated that he is about to die and caressing his hand. And the way he just looks so content just to be with her, thinking these our his last moments. I feel like I'm the only one happy that Damon is backing off.
