Are Crowns (and the people that wear them) in the land of Ooo better for it o worse?

just wondering... does a crown benefit the wearer o does it ultimately lead to there corruption and downfall... take all crowns and their wearers into consideration please... also use evidences AND predictions... such as in the case of Bubblegum and Slime Princess...
does it benefit the wearer to be dato there power (either politically o mystically)of a crown?
does it benefit the people around the wearer?
{and try to use someone other than ice king (i know he's the easiest to do) in te description... just want to see how in depth te can get on this analysis...}

Ex: With LSP, I don't think her crown even holds power. She's lives in a suburban home and attends a normal high school. She doesn't have the responsibilities of normal princess would.
--The same goes for tartaruga Princess, she's a librarian.

Ex2: With PB, she rules an entire Kingdom and does government business. Plus, she lives in a castello with guards and is loved da her subjects.
-- As of does Hotdog Princess the only the Kingdom is smaller.

To answer your domanda I'd say it depends on each Monarch and the amount of responsibility they hold as a princess.
