Should I get her help?
Ok so my mum has been having severe bad moods/tempers the past 2-3 months, she hasn't done anything physical but she has been saying some pretty hurtful things to me (it's just me and her living at home, the rest of the family live to far to make consistent contact), she's been saying things like "Go to hell" and "Why don't te go and die?!" things like that, and just recently started to literally scream at me.
As a bit of a background, two years fa she was in hospital for bad breathing, it was due to a condition that she has (Myotonic Dystrophy- I'll put a link at the bottom if te want to research it).
Anyway, last August she had an Op' to fix it, and now she's ok, though the MD is a lifetime condition, but her Doctors have detto that is perfectly ok in coping with it.
Her MD does not effect her mood in any way, though I understand she may be depressed from it, I'm struggling with depression myself, coping with College work/being her only carer at since 15 (I'm 17 now) and I'm also Type 1 Diabetic and that's a lot of stress on it's own. So even though I'm stressed, I don't say anything bad to her about it (I just usually have a little private cry) but she doesn't understand what impact her mood is having on me, so should I get her help? Like talk to her Doctor about it?
Thanks, and sorry this is so long. =)
