For the secondo time that night I was stunned into silence.
She blushed, "Im sorry, I shouldnt have detto anything."
I took a deep breath, "No, its good to get your feelings out, I tried to hide them and its eating me from the inside."
I smiled at her, "I dont know your name, im sorry."
She blushed and looked down, "My name is Kelly."
"Pretty name to match a pretty girl." I smiled.
She laughed, "Thank you," she looked coyly at me.
"I dont know what it is about you, I mean just a secondo fa I was all sad, but I dont know te just make me smile."
She moved in a blur to my left, she moved pretty fast.
successivo thing I know im lying on my back with her standing over me. And then she was baciare me.
Again, I was stuned, but I must admit that after a secondo I returned the kiss.
She let me up after a bit.
"Well that was a little unexpected."
"Im sorry,"she said, "it was not my place."
She turned to leave.
"Wait, I dont want te to go."
She turned to me and smiled, "Then I wont leave you."
Dammit what was with me tonite, this was totally not like me.
She came over and sat successivo to me, paws touching.
We kissed for about an ora more, then I told her about my fight with Humphrey, I didnt seem to surprise her. We left for my tana, den and a slow walk.
It was like some euphoria had taken over and it was hard to think straight.
I shook my head, but still I couldnt think of anything but her.
This wasnt normal, my mind started to rebel.
I had to get home.
I picked up the pace a little, Kelly looked startled but she kept up.
We came bursting out of the trees at a run towards my den.
Lilly and Garth were sitting in the entrance, they looked asleep but as we approached they raised their heads.
Lilly gave me a questioning look, I nodded them over to the side.
I turned to Kelly, "Hey can te go wait in my tana, den for a sec, I need to talk to those two for a minute."
She smiled and did what I asked.
I look at her as she walked away and thought to my self, "man, she has a nice ass."
AH Damnit, these werent my thoughts.
I ran over to Garth and Lilly.
"Whos that?" asked Garth as I skidded to a halt in front of them.
I started pacing in front of them.
"Ugh, I dont know, Kelly, Kelly is her name."
"Hey there, Alec, calm down. Your going to have to tell us what happened." detto Lilly grabbing my shoulder so that I would stop pacing.
"I dont know, I cant think straight right now. I cant get that lupo out of my head. Something is wrong."
"What do te mean?"
"I mean that fifteen minuti after meeting her, we made-out for an hour. That is not me."
They looked at each other, then back to me concerned.
"Tell us what happened from the moment te left us."
And so I did I left nothing out, not even what I was thinking. I didnt go into too much detail, however, about the making-out cause for somethings te just dont need words.
"This is just a thought," detto Lilly, "but what your soul was damaged over the loss of Kate, and it is reaching out to repair itself, making te infatuated with this girl."
"Kelly," I corrected her before I could control myself.
She smiled slightly, "Kelly. It is entirly possible that because te were so hurt, a sub-consious part of te is reaching out for anything to grab hold of and heal."
She frowned deep in thought, "If that is true, though, and te turn away from it, it may also be a warning sign that this a last ditch effort to heal before the pain becomes permanant and manifests itself as something più real."
"So what? Im supposed to accept that girl over there, and what, continue down the path ive started with her, even though I barly know her."
"It could be worse," detto Garth.
I glared at him and he coughed and turned away to inspect a distant tree.
I turned back to Lilly.
"So then what should I do?"
"Do te think that te could be away from this girl?"
I thought about it, "Ugh, no!" I whined.
"Then what choice do te have?"
I layed down and put my paws over my head.
"Thats so fatalistic though."
She laughed, "why dont te get to know her a little, maybe te should listen to your soul and help yourself sposta on."
I looked up the stars. They danced around the sky in such a way it was almost to beautiful to look. A shooting stella, star shot over my head.
I took a deep breath, "I will try."
She nodded she looked silly and all mother-like I couldnt help but laugh.
She stuck her tongue at me.
"Are te guys going to spend the night," I asked, "I have some meat left from Garths hunt today. We could diviso, spalato it between us, I mean Kelly and I and te and Garth."
Garth looked at Lilly, who gave me a pouting face, "Thats not fare, te appealed to his stomach."
I grined at her, "Come on."
I led them back to my den.
Kellly greeted my return with a small kiss, I guess that I could get used to it, I mean its nice and it felt good.
We all sat down in a cerchio and started to eat. After a lot of begging that went on between the girls, I start to tell what I did when I left Alpha school.
About half way through my telling I realized that everyone was asleep. I glanced outside once before falling asleep myself with my head resting on Kelly's shoulder.


I woke about an ora before dawn, I had slept for four hours and I was pretty rested up.
I got everyone up and fed them.
We slowly made our way down to the small lake in the center of the valley. The lake was sustained da several small creeks that flowed through Jasper Park.
To one side of the lake there was an sheer, but small rocky cliff that dropped twenty feet to the beach.
Standing in its shadow was Humphrey and Kate.
She looked worried, and why not, this little shit wasnt going to beat me.
The rest of the pack was at the superiore, in alto of the cliff to as spectators.
I sent Kelly up after Garth and Lilly to confront them alone. She hadnt wanted to leave but she did as asked once again, she must have a lot of respect for me.
I stopped about ten feet from them, "Are te ready Humphrey, I hoped your not scared," I taunted him.
In response he kissed Kate, and sent her to the superiore, in alto of the cliff.
"When I kick te ass, I cant wait to see the look on your face."
I grinned at him, "Well lets see if te can make that happen."
He colomba to my right and swung up at my muzzle. I danced away with him close continueing to swing at my head. I avoided his attacks with casual ease, which I knew was apparent from the cliff.
I threw a quick jab at his throat to keep him on his toes.
He dodged to the left, and swung at my shoulder hoping to hurt me and slow my movement. It got threw my gaurd and landed heavily. My shoulder twinged and hurt a little but was otherwise fine.
I decided to allow him a hole in my defense to see what he could do.
He swung at me again but this time più meant to grab me, and I decided to let him have it.
He grabbed me da the neck, spun and slammed me into the rock face hard enough to create a arm length hole.
He colomba for my throat immediatly afterward.
