Chapter 1: Two Alphas Meet

Kate and Rex walked into a tana, den and saw an Omega walk up to them.

It was the full moon. Kate and Humphrey were getting ready for the Moonlight howl. They both came out of the den.

Chapter 4: Injured
Rex was stalking two caribou. Kate was doing the same. Rex attacked and started chasing the caribou and Kate followed.
All of a sudden, a stampede of caribou started running. Kate took cover behind a log. Rex jumped over the log, but his leg hit a big stick and he hit the ground, face and leg first.
"Ahhhh!" He screamed in pain. He broke his leg. He was spitting blood from his bloody mouth. He stood back up, his broken leg shaking, his mouth bleeding. He growled and grunted as he took seven hits and he was still standing. After the stampede was gone from sight, Rex collapsed to the ground.
"Rex!" Kate yelled as she ran to his side. Humphrey came running to them.
"Kate, what's wrong? I heard screaming." He detto before looking at Rex. "What happened to Rex?" He asked.
"He broke his leg while running from a stampede. He stood back up and took seven hits. Then, he fell down. Let's get him to the den." Kate explained. They took Rex to the den.
Chapter 5: Howl With Friends
Rex opened his eyes. He looked around to see where he was.
"Where am I?" He asked himself. Then, Kate and Humphrey walked in.
"Rex! You're awake!" Kate exclaimed. Rex looked at her.
"How long was I out?" He asked, resting his leg.
"About a week." Humphrey answered.
"Tonight's the full moon. Are te going?" Kate asked.
"No. I should rest my leg." Rex responded. Then, they both left.
Later, Rex looked at the moon. He liked the way it shined on the Earth when the sky had darkened when the sun had set. He liked the stars in the night sky and the way they brightened the sky and the way they went out, like a million little candles.
He took a deep breath and howled as loud as he could. Kate and Humphrey saw Rex howling. They sat successivo to him and howled with him. Rex opened his eyes and saw them and smiled. Then, they stopped.

"I'll be fine." The flames were right on superiore, in alto of them. "Jump now! Go!" She yelled as Rex jumped off. He looked back. His mother disappeared into the flames.
"No!" He yelled. He looked down and without warning, a branch scarred his right eye.

"I'm leaving the park for a while. I want to explore." He said.
