(No offense intended, although I'm sure some will be taken. This isn't meant to belittle your beliefs o the power of your prayers, it's meant to mostra why your prayers may offend people)

I am an Atheist. Most of te know that. te know that I wander around on the Cristianesimo spot so that I can try and understand God and Christianity, even if I don't believe in it. Does my mere presence offend some people here? Does it offend anyone here that I don't like being prayed for?

Try to think about this reasonably. I'm assuming that te don't believe in Allah, the Muslim God. Imagine that te sat down to chat with a Muslim person, and he realised te believed in the Christian God. Suddenly he gets very quiet and says, "I'll pray to Allah for your soul,"

How does that make te feel? It makes ME feel as though the person offering a prayer has absolute disregard for my personal choices and beliefs. It's like he's offering something te don't want so that te can be saved from something te don't want to be saved from.

I understand that you're supposed to pray for those in need. I understand that it's part of how Christians help people, but Atheists aren't in need and we don't need help. te telling us that you'll pray for us is like me walking up to te and saying "I know te believe in God, but I'm going to go tell EVERYONE that God doesn't exist, on your behalf!"

"No! God exists! te can't go around telling people he doesn't exist, on MY behalf!"

"Hey, I don't believe in God, please don't go talking to the air about saving my soul, on my behalf. It's insulting."

I'm not a bad person, I try my best to be a good person, just like te do. I volunteer for charities, I go carolling at seniors' homes in winter, I work in la minestra, zuppa kitchens, why do te think I need your prayers? Surely homeless people and people who are addicted to drugs deserve them more?

Please don't waste your prayers on a proud and happy person who just happens to be an Atheist.

This is a song called "Like A Lion", and it is a Gospel song. I hope te like it!
(Steady clap beat)
Let Amore explode and bring the dead to life
A Amore so bold
To see a revolution somehow.
Let Amore explode and bring the dead to life
A Amore so bold
To bring a revolution somehow

Now I'm Lost in your freedom
This world I'll overcome!

My God is not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion
My God is not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

(Steady clap beat)

Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is cold
I need a resurrection somehow
Let hope arise...

Cynthia (otherwise known as Cindy), lay down on her letto and stared up at the ceiling. Her bestie, Rachel, had invited her to youth group, and Cindy had enjoyed every moment of it. She had heard all about 'accepting Gesù as your Lord and Saviour', and it all sounded a bit cliche.

As she stared up, she saw people moving around on the roof, and she heard voices. She saw a young man, about 30 years of age. He had blood dripping everywhere. He was obviously exhausted, carrying that big log on his back.
She saw the guards march the man towards a hill, and then saw two other men carrying logs on their...

Hi guys, I would like to write my opinions about these two films as well as a small review about both films about Gesù Christ.

The Passion of the Christ

I first saw this film when my brother borrowed the DVD until I decided to download it, it has a lot of brutality and it was so agonising that I dare continue to watch it! But on the other hand, I guess Mel Gibson wanted realism for this film to which I can't blame him for that.
The one thing that I felt very disturb was the scene when a scarecrow came and stab into one of the thieves' eyes! God, that scene must be incredibly scary and disturbing...

Blip...blip...blip. That was the only sound that Faith heard. She was really scared, but she knew that God was with her always.

Here's what had happened. The other day, she had been hanging out with Chiwen, when she suddenly collapsed. Chiwen was smart and called the hospital before freaking out. Faith's last thought before she blacked out out was Esther. Esther on the plane. Then she blacked out.

She dreamed. She dreamed that Esther and everyone she loved just fell down around her, each just dropping like flies. Then she woke up. She found herself in the hospital. Numerous tests showed that...

Answer: Stoning is a method of execution during which a group of people, usually peers of the guilty party, throws stones at the condemned person until he o she dies. Death da stoning was prescribed in the Old Testament Law as a punishment for various sins. Both animali and people could be the subjects of stoning (Exodus 21:28), and stoning seems to have been associated with sins that caused irreparable damage to the spiritual o ceremonial purity of a person o an animal.

Some sins that resulted in stoning in the Old Testament were murder (Leviticus 24:17), idolatry (Deuteronomy 17:2–5),...

Matthew 28:19-20 describes how we must spread the Word of Gesù Christ. We should teach everyone—Christians and nonbelievers alike—about God. Tell them to believe and then strengthen their faith. Try to teach as many places as te can. Teach them the rules and poesia of the Bible. It doesn’t matter what they say about your beliefs, te know you’re right and that God is with you.
Once the Holy Spirit came at the Pentecost, the Apostles were now full of strength to do what Gesù told them. First, Peter healed a crippled beggar in the name...

I am very proud of my Faith, and have NO regrets about its stances. te will not hear me say “I agree with everything Christian… except this” and when it comes to a romantic relationship, I see it as not just a joining of people as one, but a union of responsibility da both to keep the other strong in their Faith.

After two weeks in London, Esther detto goodbye to her cousin. It wasn't really hard, because she just did not like her cousin at all. She was looking inoltrare, avanti to going back to Australia for one reason. Her name was Faith. She knew faith would be waiting at the airport for her when she returned. She hoped she would like the jeans she had bought. Oh, yeah, and the present she had got for Faith as well. She had picked up a gift for each of them. For Chi-chi, it was a mini Bible. Frankly, she didn't know what else to get her. And for Faith, she got her the all the DVDs from the series The Chronicles...

Last year, I wrote an articolo where I talked about Carrie Fisher's death, because I thought it would be an interesting idea to talk about, especially to close off the year. So, I decided to do the same, but this time, I want to talk about a topic that's been heavily debated da millions across the planet. I'm not trying to be super philosophical, but rather share with te my point of view.

A few days ago, I decided to look up a few video about souls and the afterlife. I look up a video that talked about theories of what could happen. Most of them seemed reasonably beliveable, except for the...
