I would like to note that anne riso wrote the entire series before Meyer in case any idea's that anne ha rubato, stola it from stephanie __________________________________________________

1. The character louis thinks he deserves to be in hell....hmmmm sound familar to another vampire?Edward perhaps

2.Animal Blood can be drank da Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. but they prefer human blood in Interview with a Vampire AND Twilight soon followed this way

3. The Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. skin dazzles humans apparently....Which is a lot like the sparkling skin that the cullens posess

4. There are immortal children in both of the books. The unnamed children...

Analyzing the Twilight Phenomena

First off, I’d like to mention that I am not a psychologist. Everything te read is just my own analyzing and since I am interested in Psychology and Behaviorism I decided to make an articolo of what I think is the basic reason for Twilight’s enormous popularity. I hope te will enjoy it.

Recently I came across a post at the forum that detto about Twilight: ” [it’s] a bit childish to say its a failure, because if it is, then why do so many people (And not just crazy teenage girls either) Amore Twilight huh?”.

I have seen this argument countless of times...

I was in the eleventh grade when I first read the fourth book : Breaking Dawn. Here I will express my opinion about it.

I liked actually the first parts of the book, they really got me interested and then when I read the other chapters of the book I got really, really bored and almost fell asleep. I think that it was very good that Bella finally became a vampire because it was time for her to overcome her fear and insecurities.
I wondered what would have happened if Bella had made an abortion and haven't dato birth to that spawn. It would be very interesting if that had happened. Actually I liked the book better than the film and I liked only the first part of the film because it was più interesting and had some kind of storyline.
I personally regret having watched the secondo part of the film .

{edited, added some stuff, just an informal consideration of a few of the arguments that support the accusation}

"Bella cigno is a sociopath."

It’s an extreme statement, to be sure. However, it’s not one to be dismissed offhand, without consideration towards its arguments.

First, here are a couple definitions of the term sociopath.
-Random House Dictionary:
a person, as a psychopathic personality, whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility o social conscience.
-American Heritage Dictionary of Cultural Literacy:
Someone whose social behavior is extremely abnormal....

So I was originally going to pubblica this articolo in the libri to Read spot, but then found this place, and I think it fits in here much better :) Anywho, this is an opinion articolo I originally wrote for my school newspaper. Yes, it's a bit of a rant, but I don't mean to be offensive, so please don't take it that way. Enjoy :)

--------------------------

There’s no way te haven’t heard of it. From the first publishing of that first book to the most recente perfume-bottle scandal, Twilight has permeated the very core of pop culture, not to mention high school conversation. No matter whether...

Disclaimer: The titolo of the articolo may seem to be a bit strange, as most of my articoli that I have postato on here are usually issues I have with the Twilight Saga, but I decided that myself as an anti, wanted to write about things I actually do like about the series. Guarantee, I actually do think Stephanie Meyer did create some characters in this series, and I just wanted to lista my superiore, in alto 8. This will be in no particular order.

If hypothetically, I were to meet the Cullen, I would think that Jasper would be the only one I probably be remotely afraid of in any sort of way. Or...

We have a discussion on the forum here about noteworthy things in twilight. I picked Angela, and now I realize that Jessica is noteworthy, too.

We'll start with Jessica!Hate. Besides Lauren, Jessica is probably the most hated human friend that Bella has. Reasons Twilighters give for this are 'Jessica is a brat', 'she ignores her in book two', 'she's too hyper', and 'i just don't like her'. Some of those are just ridiculous. 'Jessica is a brat'. How? How is Jessica a brat? Answer: She isn't. 'she ignores bella in book two' I'll elaborate on this one later, because it's pretty big. 'shes...

Preface:
I have read all libri and seen the movies.
Most importantly, the fact that it’s fantasy doesn’t excuse the themes and messages in the book. Fiction is merely a vehicle humans developed to communicate important lessons, values and philosophies. I am not claiming any of the implications I discuss were intentional on SMeyer’s part. Whether o not the autore o readers are aware of it, though, the Twilight series communicates dangerous messages about what is acceptable o admirable o desirable.
Also, I highly recommend link. It’s long, but fascinating and deeper than the libri themselves....

I'm just sayin' Bella is one of the worst role modelle ever when it comes to love, sex and life choices and should not have allowed to be published in any shape o form. I mean, when she's made the heroine of the story and marketted at teenage girls.

1. She's obsessively in Amore with a control freak stalker.

Unfortunately it seems the vast majority of the Twilight fangirls are too with the very same freak.

2. She wants him so bad that she'll abandone everyone else she loves so that she could be with him. Even when it means she'll practically have to become a blood-drinking corpse.

(The movie 'Eclipse'...

1. In Twilight, the "romance" as they call it is just there from the beginning. In Percy Jackson and the Olympians (We'll call it PJO), the Percy-Annabeth relationship was apparent from the start, but built up until the baciare in Battle of The Labryrinth and eventually their relationship began in The Last Olympian.
2. In Battle Of The Labryrinth, Percy ran into Greek mythology's equivilent to vampires: the empousai. These were ugly creatures who had flaming hair, one goat leg, one metal leg, fangs, were deadly poisonous, and usually disguised themselves as mean cheerleaders. In Twilight, the...

OK, this is my very first articolo - I have never written an articolo for fanpop before. It's a poor excuse if this turns out to be the poorest articolo ever submitted, but I'm going to use it anyway... please go easy on me xD. This is LONG, so orso with me, I appreciate it!

I have been wondering for some time now about Bella's vulnerability, state of mind, and complessivamente, generale mental well-being. New Moon, in the beginning, was my favourite book of the series, for two reasons: Jacob Black was instantly likeable and interesting, winning the titolo of my favourite character, but also the black hole that Bella...

I’ve read many lists pointing out Twilight “Plot Holes”, but più often than not, the lists aren’t very valid at all. Half of them are usually just complaints, pointing out something they don’t like about Twilight (Example:” Why would Vampiri#From Dracula to Buffy... and all creatures of the night in between. go to high school?”, o “Why does Bella have so many friends?”). The rest are just factually incorrect, o can be logically theorized. These are usually followed da “Stephenie Meyer obviously ditched history class”, o “Hasn’t Stephenie ever heard of logic?”, o my personal favorite, “I would know, I had a lesson about it...

I've talked about some of the things that crossed my mind when Leggere Twilight in the past. Thoughts such as "when is Bella going to freak out about the Edward watching her sleep thing?" "Did that say sparkling? I've re-read that passage like, four times and it still seems to say sparkling" "Does Stephanie Meyer think deer is a vegetable? no, really does she? Does she think te can call yourself a vegetarian if te don't eat things like people o those monkeys who know sign language?"
But those are valid thoughts that many people Leggere the libri also thought (well, maybe not specifically...

Hi there! This is my first articolo on the C.A.T spot, about my least preferito character in twilight. Actually, my least preferito character in history.

Bella Swan.

I seriously can't see why so many twilight fan like her. She is detto to be selfless, caring, understanding, and a good role model...when really she's the most selfish character in the whole book series.
Now then, here are several reasons why I dislike Bella.

1) Lack outside of Edward

Has Bella -even once- mentioned in any of the novels what she wanst to do with her life? (Besides wanting to be a vampire to be with Edward forever) Not...

1. Twilight is the product of an immature writer. It reads like something out of my notebook from freshman year.
2. The only difference between Twilight and fanfiction.net is marginally better grammar.
3. And even that isn’t so great sometimes. English major fail.
4. I’ve read fanfiction that is lightyears better than Twitripe.
5. The prose is purple amethyst! Deep, luscious, dazzling amethyst that scintillates and glitters incandescently in the sun!
6. Not to mention, it’s also insanely repetitive.
7. THESAURUS ABUSE! Fancy words are not necessarily better words.
8. The storyline is trite and...

There are 5 things te need to know-

This articolo is basically:
1. My story on how I got sucked into the Twilight Universe.
2. My life story on how Twilight has changed me. A lot.
3. A rant on why I like and hate about the series.
4. A confession on why I can't seem to get over with hating and loving it.
5. An opinion about how my life could have been without Twilight.

WARNING: Overall, this articolo is about... why I think Twilight isn't that 'bad' after all. It's going to be lengthy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

This had me wondering for a while and to...

I don't like Twilight. I find the characters shallow; the plot boring and cliche; and the hidden messages frightening. But in the hands of another autore - someone who wouldn't let their religious upbringing, their misogynistic views, and their twisted romantic ideals colour the story - it could have been really fantastic.

First off, the grammar would have to be fixed. The purple prose minimised and the complessivamente, generale Scrivere polished up.

Next the characters would have to be made realistic, their actions have an effect on the plot, and their history an effect on them.

Take Rosalie, for example. If Rosalie's...

Number 1: Someone tells te o he admits that he has hit women in the past. He has talked about his killing sprees, he has killed another woman (Yes, she is a vampire. Who cares?) in front of her. Check!

I am totally ignoring Breaking Dawn in this because Stephenie Meyer broke all the rules in there. [Vampires cant have children, they have no body fluids, etc etc]
Reasons i think Jacob is better for Bella than Edward is:
1. Edward/Bellas relationship is based on appearance. She is constantly talking about how good he looks, how velvety his voice is, how graceful he is, etc. She detto Jacob was beautiful once o twice and called his new muscles impressive once o that she is jealous of his tan skin. She thinks Edward is too good for her because she looks plain successivo to him. She thinks Jacob is too...

This is a short little rant, people.

I don't know about you, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people spell my name wrong.

On Fanpop, I've gotten ranrea, renre, renray, ranraa, and many others. In real life, I've gotten Reagan, Regon, Regen, Reagen.... and people are always misspelling my last name (I'm not displaying that here.)

One thing I've noticed on fanpop (and many other fansites, as well) is that people often fail to spell Stephenie Meyer's name right. That's right: StephEnie, with an E right there. Not an 'a'. An 'e'.

Some people have completely butchered Meyer's name. Stephanie,...
