Sure, she could have helped herself a LOT more but she would still be depressed. I can understand why she would want to find out about Edward, and why she'd want to hear Edward's voice however stupid it was. The fact she went straight back to Edward does bother me, but again I can understand that... However, I found it extremely weird that after all the 'let's go save Edward' mission was all over and they were home, she didn't reflect at all and be like hang on a minute... You left me and now we're all perfect again? Ditching Jacob was so horrible though. She always made it clear that she loved Edward more than anything and that she didn't feel that way about Jacob. And when her and Edward were back together she didn't forget about Jacob she was upset they weren't friends anymore. It does however annoy me that she can't stay mad at Edward for more than a second. But I seriously hated how she easily took Edward back and it all came out like he never left. This guy does not respect your wishes, treats you like crap (taking her to prom against her wishes, for example), breaks into your room to watch you sleep, leaves you in one heck of a depression and you just take him back just like that, just because he said he lied?! Just a terrible protagonist, let alone a female character. Maybe she had one or two moments (haven't read the books in awhile so not sure which chapters or books), but the bad far outweigh the good. Angela Weber should have been the main protagonist, but with a new vampire and werewolf (or shape-shifter) instead of Edward and Jacob. posted più di un anno fa.
