Chapter 1: Doing Mother's Deeds

I slipped into the door of the unknowing family. The door creaked as I shut it, da the family was so full of conversation and laughter they wouldn't be able to notice. Gothel had made this too easy for me. This was my secondo chore today, so I was naturally getting very tired, but I'd do anything for Mother, anything. I walked emotionless into the cucina where the family sat down for dinner.

They finally notice me. "Woah, how'd te get in here?" the father asks. "Are te lost?" Yes, I was quite lost, but not in the way he was implying.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, tears running down my cheeks. I begin to shake as I roll up my sleeves, revealing what I truly am. This was for mother, this was for mother, was what I kept repeating in my head.

"Daddy, what's wrong with the girl's arms?" the daughter asked. "They look scary, like a bunch of knives o a chain saw?"

"Heidi, take the children, get them out of here." the father detto with an edge to his voice. "Now, Heidi. NOW!" That's when I pounced. The dog watched the entire thing, licking up the blood afterwards.

"That's what te get for insulting my mother," I spit at them once I'm done with the job, but no one responds. No one can answer. They're all dead, and I killed them all. Mother knows best though. Whatever she tells me I will do, for she made me and I Amore her.

Common Themes With Each Generation of Princesses

You'll notice that characters created around the same time as each other tend to share traits that are popolare at the time o big with the artist/director/etc who works with them.

However, I'm not here to talk about personalities. Those have already been covered da many interesting authors who explore the topics far più effectively than I could. What I want to talk about is common overarching themes I have noticed in each generation of princesses.

Classic Princesses

A common theme with the first three Disney princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) I think is maintaining hope and optimism...

Well, as promised, here my thoughts. Careful, though, I intend to go into great detail about the movie. If te haven’t watched it yet, I suggest to leave, o this will ruin the experience for you. I also warn te if te Amore the movie. For me, it was very much a mixed bag, and I will mostly try to figure out why I wasn’t as Come d’incanto as I was and still am of my favourite Disney Princess Movies.

10. The Prince
I don't see him giving any wedgies at all. If anything, I think he'd be the one receiving them from everyone else.

9. Prince Charming
Just like with the Prince, I don't see Charming giving any wedgies. He might give the occasional wedgie, but only to the Prince.

8. Prince Phillip
This guy would give so many wedgies to the other two classic princes that it's not funny.

7. Shang
He doesn't always give wedgies, but when he does, te better believe that it'll being excruciatingly painful.

I'll be judging their actions based off not only the original Film but in the sequels and TV series'. People say that Ariel never learned a lesson in The Little Mermaid and that she never really was sorry for what she did. I kind of agreed with this until I watched The Little Mermaid last night, and I realized that she does actually learn a lesson.

When people like to defend Ariel, they tend to point to this line:

The Legendary Princesses

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. So, here te go, my preferito moment from each Disney Princess film. Here are the ground rules.
1.The princess has to be in the scene. Obviously Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty will have to suffer for that.
2.They can't be musical numbers. Otherwise this entire articolo would be nothing but songs.

The scene was so creepy, it creeps me out to this giorno and I Amore it. The dark and frightening imagery, it gives me chills. After surviving an attempt at murder, Snow White runs off in fear to the forest where she lets her imagination run wild....

The Language of Flowers: Belle

Someone in the Disney merchandise department seems to have decided that Belle’s fiore is the rose – a decision I don’t really agree with. Yes, I know, the rose is featured very prominently in the movie. But it’s not really a symbol for Belle; it’s a symbol the need of the Beast to find true love. Which is, btw, the meaning of red roses: True Love. Seeing Belle as the rose, she would be symbolically under glass for the whole movie, and that doesn’t suit her character at all. In fact, shortly after the Beast puts the glass over his rose possessively, Belle flees from the castle....

7. Tiana and Belle

Not really surprising that this friendship was the first to leave as imo, these two princess have successivo to nothing in common. Tiana is very grounded and head strong whereas Belle is a bit of a dreamer and chases fairytales.

7. Sleeping Beauty (Aurora/Briar Rose)
Ahhh the lovely Briar Rose, many times haled as the most beautiful of all the Disney princesses. She's very nice and pretty....and nice...ok so she doesn't do much. That's why she's ranked lower but I still Amore her! She's such a classic and iconic princess. Some people argue that she only shows up in 18 minuti of the actual film but thats the point! She's SLEEPING beauty. Besides, she has like the best wardrobe ever.

Snow White may be adorable, sweet and charming, but when she sings, glass breaks, Cani bark and car alarms are set off. I Amore her...she is precious, but her Canto voice is a bit high for my tastes, and apparently all of yours, since she came in last place.

#8:Shes Being Difficult!

I Amore this scene because suddenly this monsterous Beast is being childish. Also this is the first banter te see between the Beast and Belle, te also get to see how desperatly the castello staff is trying to get him to be polite and get the girl to fall in Amore with him.

#7: The Library:

When the Beast presents Belle the biblioteca and shares his desperate attempts to win her cuore to cogsworth and lumiere te just want to go "Awwww" the look on his face...

3. If I Never Knew You (Pocahontas) da the Cheetah Girls
Although this song was cut from the original release of Pocahontas, in the special edition version, Disney decided to put this song back in. It was detto that this song did not make it in the film because during a special screening, children found it boring. I completely disagree. I think it's one of the most beautiful songs ever. Unfortunately, the Cheetah Girls ruined the song. Not to say that they're bad singers because they can sing, just not this song. They took away from the original magic.
