Most developed Disney Princess countdown results

I did a countdown about the most developed DPs, and now here are the results. Sorry for the delay! I've been very busy lately. I'd just like to thank everyone who participated in this countdown and left a comment. Anyways here are the results.

13. Aurora

Comments:
MacytheStrange - None of the Classics developed. A reason why they're my least preferito Era as a whole.
Silverrose1991 - Even if they're my preferito era, the Classic Princesses don't have any character development.

12. Snow White

Comments:
324anna: Snow White doesn't change at all during the movie, she remains the same.
prussiaducky: I think snow is developed to a degree since she did finally get loved da the end and she finally got confidence.

11. Ariel

Comments:
Shiki_Otherside: She sells her soul to the devil, makes her family suffer, doesn't do anything else, and still get's her happy ending without learning anything except maybe that some risks are worth taking.
Robin_Love: She has no real personal change in the movie and her personality bugs me.

10. Cinderella

Comments:
Bridget_J: I don't really see Cenerentola as developed.
MacytheStrange: Ugh, I wish she'd gone out BEFORE Ariel.

9. Belle

Comments:
shanyuisboss: Well, she was the same throughout the movie. She barely even changed. She was always this perfect girl from begining to end.
AprilGhost:I don't agree that Belle was perfect from beginning to end (at the start she was pretty condescending), but she definitely developed the least out of these.

8. Jasmine

Comments:
Swanpride: gelsomino at the end of the movie is exactly the same person than at the start.
Flutey_Girl96: No development, except for falling in love, which doesn't count for me

7. Pocahontas

Comments:
Swanpride: It's più that she makes a decision in the very end...it's a small token development, but nothing more.
Beautiful_Tiana: No doubt.

6.Elsa

Comments:
emerald_32: Definitely Elsa. I Amore her, but she didn't appear for less than 1/2 of the total movie.
3xZ: She is not developed, she is imbalanced.

5. Anna

Comments:
Tygers_Eye: She starts off dorky, quirky, clumsy, and awkward... and kind of stays that way. Her only conflict is that she wants a relationship with her sister, she wants the gates to open, and she wants to fall in love. She gets those things in the end, but doesn't really grow o change to earn them.
princecatcher93: IN THE CIRCLE!!! THE cerchio OF UNDERDEVELOPMENT!!! *BOOM*

4. Rapunzel

Comments:
324anna: She didn't change very much, the other princesses changed dramatically, while Rapunzel just became più mature and confident. Tiana changed her opinion on Amore and realised what really matters in life, Mulan became più brave, confident, mature, smart and strong and Merida understood her faults, matured and stopped being just a spoiled kid that wanted everything how she liked.
CRaZy_rawR: This is hard, because these four princesses are really developed. Rapunzel does go though significant changes, from realizing she can stand up to people, not all people in the real world are awful, and seeing that Flynn was her dream. In comparison though, she is the weakest developed of the bunch.

3. Tiana

Comments:
CRaZy_rawR: Tiana develops only a little, compared to the other two.
manu962: The other two developed more.

2. Mulan

Comments:
prussiaducky: Mulan doesn't change, IMO, I feel as if she's still that awkward girl. All that happened was that she pulled her shit together for a war. She doesn't become that confident, she was always reckless. In the beginning of the movie, she spoke against her father leaving, in the end, she just took matters in her own hands. She wasn't even 100% sure of anything going her way, aka, not a lot of comfidence.
Onyxis: Mulan seemed very believable character the in entire movie and the subtle chances in her personality were natural and earned.

1. Merida!

Comments:
Annabethandco: Merida should win this - I mean come on, how could ANYBODY argue that ANY DP character changed più than Merida?
Emmalou13: Merida should win! She started of Selfish and only thinking of herself, and at the end she was the opposite! She learned her lesson!

So that's the end of my lame article. Sorry, I was too lazy for descriptions :P Anyways, commento what te guys think and if te agree with these results o not.

MacytheStrange I actually pretty much agree with this list, all though I think Belle had more development than Jasmine and Ariel and especially Snow White had more development than Cinderella. And great pictures!

Angelica_AW Nice article, though I dont agree with Merida being the most developed. I feel like she stay pretty much the same. *shrugs* But tother than that, I pretty much agree. :)

3xZ Well, I still think that a developed character is not based on a change in her personality in the end. In fact, if she keep changing throughout the movie, I considered her as an inconsistent character. Snow White is supposed to ranked higher than Cinderella. Both Ariel and Belle are well-developed too. By the way, this list is very good. I rated it ^^

Swanpride @3xZ I think what you actually mean is not a developed character, but a layered one...I agree, a character can be very layered without notably developing through her movie. Cinderella is certainly an example for that as is Snow White....they are both more than what meets the eye, seemingly abused into obedience, but if you look closer, you realize that this isn't true at all and they are both actually very complex characters. But when it comes to development, then I stick to my opinion that the princesses up to Pocahontas are pretty much interchangeable, because they don't develop. The movies are simply not written that way (and I don't think that a female character HAS to change to be a good one). I disagree about Merida winning, but at least the Frozen craze is not that strong that the voter overlooked the weaknesses in Elsa's and Anna's supposedly development.

11: Beauty and The Beast

This movie, I simply found boring. It reminds me of most Film where a girl looks inside of the man and he saves her. The end. To me, it was a very cliche modern fairy tale, one I'd probably make up as a child to tell an adult. I feel like Beauty and The Beast scores better with a younger audience than an older one, since it teaches good moral values that maybe little one's don't know but we do.
Music: I found the Musica poorly written and rushed. Even though I do like the chorus in the song Belle a lot,...
