Hi!
Today I'll be sharing my ranking of the Latin Spanish voices of the Disney Princesses. I grew up with most of these voices so they're special to me. There are only two singers that I dislike in the list, but in general, I find most of the others very fitting for the characters. I'll probably be ranking the English and Catalan voices at some point, and maybe other languages too. I hope te enjoy it, and I would Amore to read your thoughts!
Let's start...

 Dulce ruiseñor, canta por favor
Dulce ruiseñor, canta por favor

#19 – Cenerentola 1950 (by Evangelina Elizondo)
I don't like her voice at all on Cinderella. I know she was 21 years old at the time of the dub, but she sounds much older. She also sounds unpleasant and unfitting imo, and overrated da most of the Latin American fanbase.

Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor
Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor

#18 – Snow White 1964 & Aurora 1959 (by Lupita Pérez Arias)
Again, an overrated voice that I'm not a fan of. She was 39 years old when she voiced Aurora, and it's horribly noticeable. She gets a higher spot than Evangelina because she sounds a bit più interesting, but I don't like her voice at all either. I think I prefer her Snow White.

Abran paso, aquí voy y ya llegaré
Abran paso, aquí voy y ya llegaré

#17 – Tiana (by Paula Arias Esquivel)
I can't really say anything bad about her, but she doesn't impress me either. I'm not interested in most of Tiana's voices, and sadly she's no exception.

Cabalgar, a volar, viento y cielo alcanzar
Cabalgar, a volar, viento y cielo alcanzar

#16 – Merida (by Yuridia)
I don't know how she ended up so low; her voice is powerful (almost intimidating), and I guess she fits. Maybe it's because I'm not emotionally attached to her voice and movie like with the others. But she's very good.

Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor

#15 – Snow White 2001 (by Vikina Michel)
The Snow White I grew up with. Her voice is really pretty, classic (for a modern dub) and a bit mature. Her only drawback is that she's quite forgettable imo, but when I'm listening to her I really enjoy her.

Todos tenemos que cantar con las montañas
Todos tenemos que cantar con las montañas

#14 – Pocahontas (by Susana Zabaleta)
I was never a huge fan of her but she's grown on me. Her voice is a bit too aggressive, but other than that now I enjoy her performance, even if she's not one of my preferito Pocahontas. She sounds connected to the character.

Un misterio para todos Bella es
Un misterio para todos Bella es

#13 – Belle (by Lourdes Ambriz)
Her voice is a bit too mature for Belle, but she nails the emotions of the character. I quite like her in Belle (reprise). Oh, and she's a great opera singer!

El riachuelo me podrá contar del mundo aquel que tanto yo soñé
El riachuelo me podrá contar del mundo aquel que tanto yo soñé

#12 – Alice & Wendy (by Teresita Escobar)
The best old voice (from the 50s) on the lista for me. She sounds perfect for Alice! She sounds like a polite English girl. This is also perfect for Wendy, but I like her less there. And I Amore her speaking parts too!

Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor
Deseo que un gentil galán me entregue su amor

#11 – Snow White 1938 (by Diana Castillo)
My preferito Latin Spanish Snow White. She doesn't sound as dark o operatic as most singers from that era. There's some sweetness in her voice as well. I like her!

Pienso que todos son hijos de Dios
Pienso que todos son hijos de Dios

#10 – Esmeralda (by Fernanda Meade)
I thought she would end up much lower, but here she is! I can't really think of anything bad about her, she has the emotions needed, and her voice is actually very beautiful and fitting. I'm glad she got to open the superiore, in alto 10.

Libre soy, surgiré como el despertar
Libre soy, surgiré como el despertar

#9 – Elsa (by Carmen Saharí)
She has everything to be a perfect Elsa, however there's something that prevents me from loving her more. Maybe it's because, like Merida, she wasn't a huge part of my childhood. But I think her voice is very pretty and colorful! And her speaking parts are also great.

Quisiera ser como las aves que cantan
Quisiera ser como las aves que cantan

#8 – Aurora 2001/2008 (by Brenda Ruiz)
She's so high for the opposite reason that put Carmen and Yuridia lower. She was a HUGE part of my childhood; it's no secret that Sleeping Beauty has always been my preferito Disney movie. And while I admit her performance is not the best (hey, at least she sounds like a 16 years old girl), I can't help but liking her. Her voice is sweet and delicate, and I think that's great for Aurora! <3

El exterior... quiero formar... parte de él...

#7 – Ariel (by Isela Sotelo)
A bit mature but not old like Lupita. Her voice has so much energy and emotions and it matches the speaking voice (Gabriela León). Maybe not my preferito Ariel right now, but she'll always be the best childhood Ariel I could have asked for. She'll always be special to me <3 Oh, and she's my preferito Vanessa, she used to scare me a lot in that role!

Por fin sabré cuán lejos voy
Por fin sabré cuán lejos voy

#6 – Moana (by Sara Paula Gómez Arias)
I Amore her voice!! One of the best voices of Moana. She sounds girly but very fitting and energetic. She's not higher because she can't dethrone old favorites, but I still Amore her!
Fun fact: she's the daughter of Paula (Tiana).

Con un beso de amor soñé
Con un beso de amor soñé

#5 – Giselle & Anna (by Romina Marroquín Payró)
If it was for her Anna alone, she would be lower. I quite like her there, but complessivamente, generale it's not one of the most impressive voices. But she sounds pretty and fitting enough.
However, I absolutely adore her Giselle!! Sooo fitting and I Amore her little twists. Her voice screams “childhood” to me, even when I heard her in Riverdale.

Juntos en un mundo ideal tú y yo
Juntos en un mundo ideal tú y yo

#4 – gelsomino & Mulan (by Analí)
One of the most popolare Latin Spanish voices and it's easy to see why. Her gelsomino is so wonderful <3 So exotic, fitting, magical and smooth! I still Amore her voice as Mulan, though not nearly as much. But she remains great!!

Jamás lo haré, no hablaré de mi amor
Jamás lo haré, no hablaré de mi amor

#3 – Megara (by Tatiana)
I think she's one of the most original Megaras and I Amore her! She shows Meg's broken side while still having the bitchy attitude. I Amore her little twists and her voice is very pleasant. A big favorite!!

#2 – Cenerentola 1997 (by Natalia Sosa)
I'm running out of original comments, but I have to say that she's my preferito Cinderella. Her voice is so beautiful, classic but with a modern touch, and so soft. Perfectly fitting for her face and character. I also Amore her in Cenerentola III. One of my big preferiti since childhood! <3

Esta vez, todo es diferente... Veo en tí la luz
Esta vez, todo es diferente... Veo en tí la luz

#1 – Rapunzel (by Danna Paola)
I thought Natalia would win the countdown, but I realized I slightly prefer Danna (though that could well change tomorrow lol). She was 15 when she dubbed Rapunzel so her natural youth helps a lot. Her modern voice fits the songs very well, and fits her face. Probably my preferito Rapunzel as well. I don't know what else to say, I just think she's great! <3
PD.: I Amore her recitazione in Elite as well xD

Hope te liked it ^^

Here's my quick top10 preferiti of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune o lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I Amore become my all time preferiti and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic Musica is. Anyways, this is my current lista of superiore, in alto 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I sposta onto newer songs.

10. I see the light:...

.... o Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be più positive people. They cared più about well-roundedness, being modest...

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd preferito princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

The saddest moments from DP Film that made me cry and most often they still do. Some are close to cuore while some are so well enacted and animated that i'm moved da the simplicity of emotions.

13. 3 good fate put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

12. Cenerentola crying in the forest:

So I've been Leggere that the "Prettiest Princess" ranking is sort of like a right of passage articolo that all of the fan here on fanpop do so I figured it was time for my own. Instead of just doing a physical beauty ranking, I wanted to do an complessivamente, generale beauty ranking instead. I personally see ranking women based only on their physical beauty as objectifying them so I am kind of confused that it's not looked at that way here on fanpop? (Not saying this to judge o condone others but just out of genuine curiosity and confusion considering the way some fan have reacted to perceived objectification...

Like I stated in my last wallpost I'm about to lose my grandmother and so I decided to write an articolo about some of the Saddest Moments in the DP Film in no particular order (but I'll mention my number 1 in the end of the article). So anyway hope you'll like this article

Brave: The 2nd Sunrise
I may not be a big fan of Brave, but this scene is sad, when I first saw this movie in the cinemas I cried during this scene and I still find this scene to be quite sad

Cinderella: The Dress Ripping Scene
This scene is so sad to watch everytime, Cenerentola had the chance of finally getting out of the...

If any of te are familiar with character stylization o really art in general te might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the autore of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. BASICALLY I'm going to "guess" what the princess' personality is like based on the way she's drawn, see what the general consensus is on her personality...

My Favourite Things from The Sound of Music

This song reminds me of the scene in the woods after she's been scared da the dark shadowed shapes of the trees. When she asks the animali what they would do and starts Canto With a Smile and a Song. Well this be an alternative song o whilst she' Canto she could be imagining her favourite things. I can also Snow White Canto this. It does require a positive sounding vocal so it makes sense.

Since this section has been very inactive lately I decided to fresh it up da Scrivere another article, about my preferito Disney Princesses, hope you'll like this articolo :)

13. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess that I don't like at all, but I don't dislike her either, I feel neutral towards her. The main reason might sound weird, but it's mainly because I don't think she fits in the Disney Princess lineup, to be perfectly honest I would appreciate her character più if she wasn't an official Disney Princess. Besides that there's nothing wrong about her character except her temper, she's...

Hello All! Due to my life interfering with my time these days, I took a hiatus from articolo writing. I also took a hiatus, because KataraLover and Cruella stepped into the void, and took on the “these are horrible characters argument” in a set of ongoing video discussions that can be found on the video links page of The Disney Princess Club. (My hat goes off to them, as they were dispelling the myths and stigmas surrounding certain unbeloved characters). Great work, guys!!!

I have been inspired da seeing articoli that defend Ariel on fanpop so I thought I would write my own.

Ariel also gets a lot of flack and it drives me insane! People say Ariel is anti-feminist because she gives up her voice to be with Eric. She always wanted to be human. At the beginning of the film she was collecting artifacts of the human world. Do te think she was collecting artifacts because of Eric? The song Part of Your World, she wasn't even Canto about Eric. Her fascination with humans is what lead her to become interested in Eric. If it wasn't her fascination with humans, she wouldn't...
