Hmm I'm not really sure. If I compare myself to my mum, I'm definitely the more optimistic one. But I'm pessimistic too sometimes (on purpose), so that if something works out I'll be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed.

I'm SEVERELY both. I like the saying Hope for the best, but expect the worst" but I don't necessarily live by it.

I always was an optimistic person :) It's a part of my personality I guess.

I don't mean to brag, but I don't really ever complain. My family isn't the richest and my house isn't the biggest or whatever but I always learn to deal with things.

The ignorant people in this world makes you go more pessimistic then optimistic and is easier to go sad in a minute then been thinking positive.I have been pessimistic for a long time, agree with shanyuisboss.
