dweeb picked Mulan:
Although it's got a very feminist message, it's also got the most action, war-related stuff and a lot of comedy. I saw it in theatres with my boy cousins and they loved it. Also, maybe The Princess and the Frog because it's more of an animal movie than a princess one. And it's not too girlie. Also, boys would like the shark chase and the storm sequence in TLM.

I totally agree with you, Mulan has plenty of things boys might like. I'd say that Mulan, Pocahontas, and PATF are the ones boys will like most. Cinderella is the specific one I imagine that boys will enjoy least.

I am a boy and it is my favourite movie. But apart from that I think that the boys would like the action scenes and there are a lot of them.

I agree with dweeb completely. It has war and comedy, both of which appeal to boys.

Ah, Mulan is too feminist, including that make-up and dressing part!

I think boys will like Pocahontas better. There's brave captain John Smith, beautiful nature scenes, war, ships, and action. It's not a princess fairytale.

Well I asked my brother and he says the Dwarves are pretty funny so Snow White & the 7 Dwarves. Also Pocahontas since that's basically Avatar - only not in space ;P

my brother loves this movie, I also think Snow White does a good job of appealing to both genders. My brothers least favorate princess film is the little mermaide, and my boy cousin, who is 4, loves cinderella cause of the mice.

Are you kidding me? Um... I mean, in my personal experience, none of the boys I've hung out with actually wanted to watch these movies unless they were made to.

I have lots of cousins who are boys. When deciding to watch a movie, we pick something that's similar to this. I would also pick The Princess and the Frog since one of guy friends saw the movie with me and another friend and actually like it. He wanted to see it in the first place.

I know a guy irl that has a secret adoration for Disney. His favourite ever is Mulan and he watches Mulan 2 all the time. He knows he can confide in me because I hae a zany obsession too. (*cough*CLOPIN*cough*)
Well, anyway, Mulan is the most badass. Pocahontas is badass too... but it centres way too much around romance. In Mulan, the romance aspect is basically dead until the last minute of the film where Mulan asks Shang on what is basically a first date. Guys haaaaaate romantic films, and I agree with them. This is probably why I get on better with guys than girls, but what the hell. I was very much a Tiana as a child: "EWWW, NO, I WOULDN'T DO THAT!" at every piece of kissing that went on. I see it as really sweet now, but that's only came on in the last few months. I still prefer the funny action bits.
