Exactly, the original goes better with the beast's death. The minute they cue to the beast, my eyes started to tear up. That did not happen with the Alternate, I was like, WTF?

The alternate is awfully beautiful, but you could play it to a fluffy, romantic scene instead and you could barely tell the difference in moods. The original sounds genuinely tragic.
