I loved all these things, but I loved the return to hand-drawn the most. Lotti and Naveen were my favorite characters though and I loved the setting of New Orleans.

I'm curious because it seems that there's a lot of hate for PatF on fanpop, but I see a lot of love for Lotti, which makes me curious if there were aspects of the movie that people liked.

I also love Charlotte, the return to hand-drawn animation, and the first black princess!

I love that they went back to 2D animation, it was such a breath of fresh air.

oh and 'Return to hand-drawn animation' i was SO HAPPY when i saw they're back to the 2D animation !

I was soooooo happy that they returned to hand-drawn animation, even before I watched the movie! I hope they try to do more hand-drawn movies...

I also love Charlotte, Naveen, the setting, the music, the return to handrawn animation, everything! It's not Disney's best film but it's not it's worst by far and I don't see why it gets so much hate.

Not gonna lie, the movie wasn't my cup of tea and it made me feel extremely sad that the first black princess movie ended up being not as great as I imagined, not to mention that I couldn't stand Tiana's character, Naveen's character and mainly their love story (when she kissed him in the beginning of the movie because he promised to give her money made the whole thing not appealing to me from the start. How or when exactly did they fall in love is still the biggest question for me). Tiana was sold as this independent and strong heroine, but I didn't find her bitchiness and self-righteousness as something that makes her strong, Charlotte was reduced to a "silly blonde" cliche although she was the one who dreamed and hoped and was generally a good person without prejudices whereas Tiana and Naveen insulted each other for the whole first half of the movie because she saw him as a spoiled brat and he saw her as a boring girl from working class and even allowed himself subtle digs at it. I thought it was unfair that Tiana and Naveen got their happy ending while Charlotte wasn't allowed a smallest triumph. I also think Tiana's parents were much more likeable characters and sadly we didn't get to see more of them.
