Duncan’s POV: I woke up the successivo morning as I heard my phone started going off. I checked the time as the clock said, 6:00p.m. I heard my phone ring for the 3rd time as I quickly answered it. “Hello?” I detto into the phone. “Hey are te okay?” a female voice asked. “Who is this?” I asked. “Courtney. te know, best Friends since we were kids, had sex last night. Remember?” she said. I sat up almost immediately, my eyes were wide open as I ran my fingers through my hair. “Uh, yeah. I remember. What’s up?” I detto frantically. “ Just wondering when you’re gonna be home from work. What about you?” Courtney said. “Work? Oh yeah! Yeah, I tried to text te around 3, but my manager caught me and took my phone.” I lied. Courtney was talking about something, but I really didn’t wanna pay attention. I just wanted to find out what was going on. I looked down and saw that I was shirtless. I looked to my left and saw a figure in the shape of a body under the covers. I slowly pulled the covers off of the figure and saw hair in the colori of black and teal. Gwen. I threw the covers back on to her and quickly got out of the bed. I frantically looked around and saw all of my clothes on the floor. I pulled on my boxers and then my pants. Wait, my boxers? I pulled the covers back off of Gwen and saw her pale ass. Oh God, tell me I didn’t do this! I had sex with Gwen?! Why would I ever do that?! “Duncan? Duncan? Hello? Are te there?” Courtney asked. “Uh, yeah. I’m gonna have to call te back okay? Bye.” I detto and hung up. “Gwen!” I yelled as Gwen jerked up from her sleep. “What are te yelling for?” she asked in a tired voice. “What happened last night?” I asked. “Oh, te know, I scratch your back, I scratch yours.” Gwen detto with a smile. “Gwen, don’t te bullshit me right now. I’m not in the mood. Tell me what happened.” I demanded. “Well te were in the mood last night.” she detto rolling back over. I fastened my cintura and went over to her side of the bed. I rolled her back over and put my hand to her throat. “This is not a game. Do te understand? I might lose the only person in the world that actually cares about me. Tell me what happened.” I growled. “We had sex.” Gwen choked out. I took my hand away from her as I got light-headed. I walked around to the other side of the letto trying not to fall. I pulled my camicia over my head, grabbed my phone, and bolted out the door. I got into my car and drove off to my house. When I got there, Courtney was sitting on the front porch steps. I got out of the car and walked up to her as she stood up. I wrapped my arms around her and didn’t let go. “Duncan, I’m really not in the mood right now. I think it’s best if te let me go.” Courtney detto as her words were muffled da my shirt. I let her go and asked, “What are te talking about?” “I asked Geoff if te had a job and he detto that te wouldn’t be caught dead working. All I wanna know is where te were today. That’s all I need to know.” Courtney said. The thought of killing Geoff went through my mind, but he’s the one who was telling the truth. I sighed and said, “Courtney, I messed up.” “Just tell me where te were.” she repeated. A pressure in my chest and throat started to build up. “I was with my ex-girlfriend today. I messed up. I did something I shouldn’t have done and I’m sorry. I had sex with her and it was a mistake. I didn’t know what I was doing. I’m so sorry.” I confessed. Courtney was silent for a while as tears appeared in her eyes. “Just say something. Anything?” I pleaded. Courtney took a breath and cleared her throat so it wouldn’t sound like she was upset. “I’ve liked te since we were kids. I’ve told te everything. I don’t understand why te would do this to me. After last night, why would te do this? I guess I’m not enough for you. Stay away from me Duncan. I’m done.” Courtney detto and walked across the strada, via toward her house. “Courtney wait!” I called out but she just kept walking. I turned around and walked toward my from door as I heard her door slam shut. Oh, man I messed up big this time.
