I am Courtney Stone.I am a shifter.I actually have some-what of a family.I want to mostra who I really am but I`m not sure how o when.I don`t know what I`m capable of.I`m scared if I try,I will hurt myself o some harm will be done.So I keep my life tucked away.No one knows anything about me.I want to keep that it way,but I think I`m having trouble with it and my powers.

I am Duncan Coleman.I am a shifter.I don`t like to talk,except I really want to talk to Courtney and know più o at least know a little più about her.No one knows nothing but my name.Good.I stay in my room and only come out when I`m hungry.But Courtney,she is quiet and confused,but she is everything to me.

Courntey`s POV:I walked into the living room and saw Geoff,Bridgette,Gwen,and Trent sitting like a normal family watching T.V.And actually saw Duncan sitting on the cucina counter eating an apple.It`s the first time I`ve seen him out of his room and doing something besides eat."Hey."I simply said."Hey,Courtney."Duncan detto then took another bite."It`s good to see te outside of your room."I said."Yup."he detto then threw the finished mela, apple away in the trash can then walked slowly back into his room.I threw my hands in the air and let them fall back down.I walked over to the divano and sat down."So much for talking to him."I detto to myself.

Duncan`s POV:"So much for talking to Courtney."I detto to myself.I flopped down on my letto and thought to myself,"How can a beautiful girl like her,fall in Amore with a monster like me?" "What is love?"I asked myself.Courtney is all I think about all the time.She is what makes me get up in the morning and go to the cucina and get something to eat even when I`m not hungry.Anything to see her every day.I started to drift to sleep with Courtney on my mind.

Courtney`s POV:I woke up to the sound of Bridgette at my door yelling 'wake up'.I got up and did what I needed to do to get ready for the day.After I got dressed,I went over to Duncan`s wrecked and completely damaged door and knocked on it so gently so it wouldn`t break into a million pieces o colapse."Duncan,it`s time to wake up."I detto trying to listen for a sound.The damaged door opened with Duncan walking out dressed and ready for the giorno without a word nor a look.He walked into the cucina like normal,amd sat down on the counter.I opened the refridgerator door and looked around.Nothing.Nothing but opened containers and jugs of what used to be Cibo and drinks.I sat down on the floor and put my face in my hands."Courtney?"Geoff asked in a worried tone and reached out his hand.I pushed his hand away with one hand still holding my face."I`m thinking.Don`t disturb me please."I said.I felt the vibrations in the floor as Geoff walked away.I put my hands on the floor and let my head hang down in deep thought.I closed my eyes and pictured the house in my mind.I felt Duncan looking at me,Trent,Gwen,Bridgette and Geoff watching T.V,but I didn`t see me.I looked all around the house and didn`t find me.I thought of what to cook for my some-what of a family.I opened my eyes and screamed at the feeling and sight of my hands burned.I didn`t know why it happened.I was confused of why my hands burned.I didn`t mean for it to happen.I ran over to the sink and washed my bloody,burned hands.Steam came off of them as the water stopped.Duncan grabbed me a towel and said,"It`s just your powers again.It`s okay." "No,it`s not okay.We`re all the same age,and we all have powers.Why is this happening to me? Didn`t this happen to you?"I said."You know Courtney,it could just be stress.What te need is some time to relax and chill."Bridgette detto from the couch."Yeah man,I know that helps me when I`m all harshed up."Geoff said."What she needs is some extremely loud,screamo music.I know that helps me."Gwen said.Everyone turned to look at her."What?That helps me when I`m upset o mad."Gwen said."You just need to get away from everything Court.Stay in your room for the day.But don`t stay in there too long o you`ll end up like Duncan."Trent said."She needs to go somewhere,where she can be herself."Duncan said."Whoa,he does talk."Trent said."Alright.You know what Elvis?You`re about to push it too far."Duncan detto getting up and going over to Trent who stood up and held out his fists."Let`s build bridges,not walls."Bridgette detto standing up from the divano adn blocking Duncan."Duncan is right.I do need to let myself be free.Let`s go Duncan."I said.Duncan looked over at me then back at Trent and said,"Watch yourself Elvis.Or te might get into some trouble." "Duncan."I said.Duncan walked away from Trent and out the front door with me without another word.
