What is the diff between goth and emo

Goth is all black, and a bit più morbid. emo is kind of like goth, but there are bright neon colori mixed in. Also, people often associate emo with cutting (SO NOT TRUE) , but they don't really put that stereotype onto goths. Why, are te considering going goth o emo?

Goth is a subculture that usually lasts throughout a person's life. It's a culture big on Goth Musica (Which does not include Evanescence, despite popolare belief) and dark fashions. There are many different looks to Goth, ranging from post-punk to Victorian-inspired attire.

emo is short for emotionally unstable and usually doesn't last too long, depending on the person. It's quite common amongst teenagers, but not so much used to describe an adult. emo is also used for describing teenagers who seek attention in the form of faking depression and sometimes even cutting. This secondo one is also used to refer to scene kids, although scene kids generally wear far brighter clothing and listen to different music. Looks for both scene and emo kids involve lots of belts with chains, and big, teased hair.
