Mom and House eventually had to go back to work, so I headed back into Michael's room.

He looked so weak and frail in that big bed. He was like half the letto size, maybe even less.

I walked closer to the letto until the railing was touching me, and I reached over and ran my fingers through his hair. I sat down in the plastic chair da his letto and held his good hand. I layed my head on a spot on the letto and put my other hand on his stomach.

My eyes slowly closed and I fell into a light sleep, a drop of a pin could wake me up then.

After about 30 minutes, I heard footsteps. It wasn't mom's highheel clacks...

Rachel opened the door and gasped at what she saw.

It was Michael on the floor cradling his arm and bleeding. He was covered in blood, in Rachel can only assume was his. He didn't have a camicia on and his jeans were ripped and covered with dirt,mud, and blood. His once perfect chest was covered in cuts and bruises that were starting to form. His face had a long cut going from the superiore, in alto of his right cheek...

He stared into her eyes for a moment and let her reach down to the first step of the stairs.

Her hands were still holding the back of his neck, not letting him to widen the spazio between them. Cuddy was aware of what she just said, waiting for his reaction. He knew her for a long time, she wasn’t a good girl, but maybe she let go too fast now, showed her needs too fast.

The sun rose across New Jersey, and Cuddy had just woken up alone in her bed, again.

I can’t believe that I have to go to work this morning when I feel like crap, and I’m not exactly having a good hair day.

Cuddy looked in the long mirror successivo to her bed; she shook the tight curls with her hand before sighing and making her way to her bathroom.

House was sprawled across his double bed, sheets slipping off the sides and onto the hardwood floor. The alarm went off for the third time, and yet again he hit the snooze button.

Why can’t I just have a lie in this morning? Oh wait, I do every morning....
