Hugh parked and they both stepped out of car. They went to a caff and after taking a sit, they ordered a breakfast and coffees. While they were sitting almost in complete silence, Hugh heard some excited voices coming from the other side of the room. When he turned his head, he saw a group of young people looking at them and he heard his name. He smiled discreetly when he heard Lisa’s name too. After a while, one boy of the group shyly came to their table.

“Hi, I’m sorry for bothering you, but could sign this picture for me?” he asked and with shaky hands he took the picture of Hugh and Lisa out of his bag.

“Wow, te must be a big fan if te are even carrying the picture with you” Hugh was impressed and he smiled at the boy, taking the photo.

“I am and I wanted to be prepare for an occasion like this. I would never forgive myself if i’d have a chance to meet te and te would have give me your autograph on some hankie.”

“What’s your name?” Hugh took a mini collapsible pen from his pocket.

“James” boy smiled wider “and as I can see, te Mr. Laurie are always prepared too” he pointed his pen, while Hugh started to sign the photo.

“I think I am.” he laughed.

“Oh, and te Miss Edelstein, could te sign it too?” James asked, turning a foto on her side.

“Of course” she detto and took it from the boy. While Hugh was giving her the pen they hands touched each other for a secondo and Lisa shivered, quickly got stuck into write her name on the image.

“Thank te soo much! te both make a really great couple… I mean , on the screen” He detto taking the foto from Lisa and held it in his hands like a real treasure.

“You’re welcome” Hugh detto while Lisa was staring at the surface of the table, didn’t even take a look at the boy. James was already walking out to his friends, when he suddenly came back and turned to Lisa.

“I’m sorry, again, but it will come back and haunt me if I won’t ask… Did something happen Miss Edelstein? You’re always smiling and youre full of energy and now te look so sad…” he seemed to be really worried and Lisa didn’t want to blow him off.

“No, it’s nothing.” She gave him a gentle smile.

“If te say so… Anyway, whatever it is please don’t worry. You’re to beautiful to be sad.” He blushed and she hung her head again. “Mr. Laurie, please don’t let her grieve.”

“I’ll do my best” Hugh’s smile wasn’t leaving his face as he found this situation really funny but nice. “I think our breakfast is coming” he noded at the coming waitress.

“Oh, of course. I’m sorry and thank te SO much again.” James turned and run to his friends, to mostra off his gain.

“Here’s the bacon, pancetta affumicata and eggs for you, sir, and mais muffins for you, madam” the waitress put the plates on the table.

“Thank you” they both detto and Hugh waited as the woman will go away to talk to Lisa.

“What are te thinking about?” he asked, craving the bacon.

“I feel terrible with what we’ve done.. and I’d never thought I would be the one who overreacts and te the one who actually seem to feel good with it.”

“I’m not saying I’m good with it and what’s done is done. Don’t te eat your muffins?.”

“I’m not hungry.”

“Lisa…” he said, putting the cutlery aside, and grabbed Lisa’s hand laying on the tavolo and she shiver under his touch again “Calm down. If I can sposta on te can do it too.’

“Not if te act like this...” she whispered and looked at their hands. Suddenly they heard a sound of a otturatore, dell'otturatore and both turned their heads towards the fonte of the sound. It was a paparazzi, now running out from the caffe when he was noticed they saw him.

“Damn!’ Hugh took of his hand from Lisa’s and whanged on the tavolo with a laud boom.
