"Judas" was released April 15 , 2011
Those are the words that much of the ignorant public deem best describe Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta,or as the Musica world knows her Lady GaGa. Why? Why call a devoted,hard-working,young lady such horrible things when te don't know half of who she really is?
A song that has caught the attention of many is a song from her new album "Born This Way".I am referring to the song "Judas".It is a beautiful song about Amore and betrayal.That is not the opinion of many people who have heard the song.
Many people believe the song is a hymn where she expresses her Amore of the devil,but for us Little Monsterz,well they could not be più wrong.
Many of us know about the events that took place before Gesù Christ was taken da the Romans.Judas,a disciple of Christ,betrayed Jesus. In Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" all of the disciples are puzzled when Gesù tells them on of their own will betray him . The only disciple who is not confused is Judas as he holds a sack of oro as a reward.
Lady Gaga uses an analytical point of view when she uses Judas in the song. Just as he betrayed Gesù her boyfriend betrays her. She also says she forgives her boyfriend after he mistreats her, just as Gesù told od to "Forgive them for they know not what they do."
As te can see the song and Lady Gaga have nothing to do with the devil. If anything I'd say Gaga is a devoted Christian,using Musica to express the use of Biblical events in everyday life.
It's my opinion against yours but, I hope I have dato te the chance to see both sides of the argument oposed to believing a stereotype.
