Of course. The same goes for any other language all over the world, such as Korean, Japanese, Hindi, Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, Thai, or any other language which doesn't use the Roman alphabet (yet). Almost the entire Asia, large part of my own continent, Africa, and even some countries in Europe still don't use the Roman alphabet, and that makes it very difficult for the people to learn that language, because they have to learn a whole new alphabet first, for each of those languages. Only Turkey, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia use Roman alphabet in Asia (for now)!
