Hello, my name is bluethunder25. But outside the internet, I go da the name of Ira Dwight Sutton Jr. I guess I should start da going over my history with My Little Pony, starting from my childhood.
Truthfully, like a lot of boys--hell, ANY BOY, in my childhood, I never really heard o was into My Little Pony. I had seen commercials (though none I can really remember), but aside from that, that was it. I was busy indulging in Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, though I did remember the theme song.
Going into my preteen and teen years, it was virtually the same thing. I think I saw a few commercials of G2 and G3 o something like that, but that was it. And I really couldn't get invested into MLP due to the fact that around that time, I was introduced to something that would become an essential part of my life: pro wrestling.
Going into my adult years, I finally gained access to the internet and around either 2010 o 2011, I had heard of this mostra called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and I thought to myself, "bah! It's just for girls," and didn't think anything of it. But then I saw these things called PMV's on Youtube and decided to take a look at them and thought they were some of the most well put together video on YouTube. It seemed that this mostra had a perfect scene for everything. However, despite this, I still decided not to see the show, though I began to think maybe there was to this version than met the eye. So for the successivo few years, I saw a PMV o two every once in a while and during that time, I heard of a fanbase that this mostra had gotten called Bronies, but still, I kept my distance from the show.
But then about two months fa this year, I saw a PMV version of Beat It from Animated James. And after being absolutely blown away da it, I finally decided to give the mostra a try.
So, like every new series, I started from square one, namely the first episode and onward. It was easy to find episodes of seasons 1 and 2. However it was not so much episodes of seasons 3 and 4 without commentary, so I had to stick with blind commentaries and those seasons.
And after watching virtually every episode of the show, including the season 5 premiere, I can honestly say the MLP: FiM is one of my preferito animated shows of all time. Is it perfect, no, but it's damn near close!! This mostra has the feel of a classic 90's show. Everytime I watch, I feel like I'm a kid again, watching shows like Doug, Rugrats, All That, Ren and Stimpy, etc... It's like I could watch this as a kid in the 90's. The characters are likeable and memorable, the stories are great, the animazione is beautiful and honestly, I can't think a mostra that had made me feel so alive than MLP: FiM. Though to be honest, I can't really call myself a brony just yet.
In conclusion, that is my introduction as to how I was introduced to this show. I look inoltrare, avanti to Scrivere many reviews, articles, polls, and forum related to this great show.
Thank te and in the immortal words of Pinkie Pie: attraversare, croce my cuore and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye.
