OUaT Cast and Characters

The Tallahassee Flashbacks

I believe that the writers were trying to create a tragic romance in Neal and Emma's backstory, a scenario where she would realistically believe that he'd used her but in truth it'd been a sacrifice. However, it didn't fully work, not for me anyway. My main problem with their relationship in the Tallahassee flashbacks is the fact that Neal didn't need to betray Emma to the police. It's implied that the shock of being arrested and imprisoned was required to frighten Emma out of her current criminal lifestyle, but surely Neal could have simply told her that he wanted...

Despite OUAT being intended as a family-friendly TV series, it contains a lot of story-lines and pairings which involve a lack of consent o dubious consent. Most of these are not recognised o acknowledged within the story. These are the ones I've identified:

I wasn't much of a fan of the final season of OUAT, unlike the earlier 6 seasons. There are a few reasons why.

Although I know that this was due to actor availability/actors not returning, I did miss Emma, Belle, Snow, Charming, CaptainSwan and Snowing. Several of my favourite characters and couples were almost entirely missing from the final season. I'd think that even fan who dislike those characters would be able to feel the resulting imbalance after following their stories for so many years.
