TEEN sensations One Direction admit they were "terrified" of Canto live on The X Factor - but spending seven months on the road has calmed their nerves.
Now the lads reckon they are ready to take the pop world da storm.
Mentor Simon Cowell was stunned when Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson failed to win last year's series.
But the band, who finished third after being thrown together at boot camp, detto they needed più time performing together as they were "strangers".
Since the show, they have been belting out songs to screaming girls across the UK during the X Factor tour.

They spoke of their excitement at releasing a song - with an album on the way - following the success of Cher Lloyd, whose single Swagger Jagger is out on July 31. The boys have a reputation for mischief.
Harry was caught running around the garden of the X Factor house in a oro thong, and recently they went skinny-dipping after getting bored on a photoshoot. But they insist they're behaving in LA. Harry, 17, said: "We've been too busy working to think about partying."

Last year’s X Factor finalists, boy band One Direction, were apparently ordered to leave an up market health club and spa yesterday after “dive bombing” into the swimming pool.
The Sun adds that the band were staying in the Richmond collina Hotel in south west Londra which adjoins the health club, and once fan knew where they were, they caused a ruckus at the hotel too.
The paper Citazioni a fonte from the hotel as saying, “The fan were banging on doors at 3am…
“Unfortunately, most guests were businessmen staying in the hotel for a conference and they weren’t best pleased.”
