"Daddy! Stop!" My 4 anno old voice screams as I run around the house being chased da my Dad. "Here comes the tickle monster!". I scream and run faster giggling the whole time. "Got you!" My Dad says as he picks me up and carries my up to my room. "Daddy, I don't want to go to bed!" I whine. "You have to sweetie" He smiles as he tucks me in. "But Daddy..." I whine again giving him the 'puppy dog' face. He laughs and kisses me on my forehead. "I'll see te in the morning" He says as he walks out of my room and turns off the light. I sigh and nod off.
A few hours later I hear a crash. "Mommy! Daddy!" I scream and run into their room. "What is it Honey?" My Mom looks up. "W-what was that?" I ask my voice full of fear. "Probably the Cat" My Dad yawns and rolls over. There was a louder crash. "Mommy!" I scream, as my parents jump out of bed. "Daddy?" I run over to him and he picks me and the cat up. "Don't worry Nicki" He says as he sets me and the cat down in the closet. "Daddy I'm scared!" I cry. "Just stay in here and don't come out" My Dad tells me. "But Daddy..." "No Honey don't come out. No matter what te hear." I nod and hold the cat close. My dad shuts the door and I lock it. Not long after I hear my Mom and Dads voice's, followed da a gun shot.
I sit straight up in my bed. "Just a dream Nicki. Just a dream." I wipe the sweat off my face. It had been 13 years since my parents died. Now I live with my Grandma. I slowly get up and I start shaking. As I'm getting dressed I hear my Grandma downstairs.....
