Les and Jimmy were walking along the spiaggia talking about their performance and how well it had gone when they heard footsteps running up to them and turned to see two boys about their own age, one who looked a little older and one who looked a little younger.
"Great show, guys." The boy who looked older put out his hand and smiled. "We were in the audience. I'm Felix."
"I haven't seen an act this good in a while," the younger boy added. He, too, put out his hand, and shakes were exchanged all round. "I'm Charles - the chitarra King," he added with a little grin. "And you're good enough to be another chitarra King!" he told Les.
Les grinned back. "Guitar King Les? I like that."
Jimmy glanced at Felix. "Should I be Jimmy the Drum King, o just ordinary batterista Jimmy?"
Felix laughed and shrugged. "Well, I'm just going to be Felix who plays the bass."
"So te guys liked our show?" Les went on.
"Sure did," detto Charles. "I was just saying to Felix here, te two should have a bassist and another guitar. te need to be a whole band, the way te played!"
Les felt a glow of pleasure. "You mean, a bassist and a guitarist like you?"
"Well, we would Amore to be part of your band," Felix confirmed.
Jimmy tilted his head as if considering them, but the sparkle in his eyes gave away his liking for the idea. "There's a good idea. I was beginning to think we would have to train my Cani to play chitarra and bass."
Everyone laughed.
"I say you're in," Les decided. "Jimmy? If te give them your address, we can arrange our first rehearsal. Our home base is Jimmy's basement for the moment," he explained to his new friends.
"Where all great bands begin," Jimmy laughed, as he scribbled his address and phone number on two scraps of paper and handed one to each new bandmate.
"And so the successivo great rock band was born!" declared Charles as he took his.
"Right on!" Les agreed.

The first giorno of spring was approaching. Leila and Greeley were on Spring Break. Leila said, "It doesn't seem possible that we're going to be finished with our first anno of college in less than two months." He said, "I know." She said, "It's also hard to believe that my dog, Paul, is not a cucciolo anymore. He's fully grown." Greeley said, "They grow up very quickly." She said, "They really do. I also can't believe that my birthday is coming up. It's the first giorno of spring this year, March 20. I'm going to be eighteen." Greeley said, "Happy Birthday." She said, "Thank you." Knowing that she had Friends that she didn't have to say "I thought we were friends" to gave Leila comfort. She also knew that she didn't have to have a romantic relationship to complete her. She has and supportive aunt and uncle and great friends. Because of that, she's not lonely at all.
