Les and Jimmy were walking along the spiaggia talking about their performance and how well it had gone when they heard footsteps running up to them and turned to see two boys about their own age, one who looked a little older and one who looked a little younger.
"Great show, guys." The boy who looked older put out his hand and smiled. "We were in the audience. I'm Felix."
"I haven't seen an act this good in a while," the younger boy added. He, too, put out his hand, and shakes were exchanged all round. "I'm Charles - the chitarra King," he added with a little grin. "And you're good enough to be another chitarra King!" he told Les.
Les grinned back. "Guitar King Les? I like that."
Jimmy glanced at Felix. "Should I be Jimmy the Drum King, o just ordinary batterista Jimmy?"
Felix laughed and shrugged. "Well, I'm just going to be Felix who plays the bass."
"So te guys liked our show?" Les went on.
"Sure did," detto Charles. "I was just saying to Felix here, te two should have a bassist and another guitar. te need to be a whole band, the way te played!"
Les felt a glow of pleasure. "You mean, a bassist and a guitarist like you?"
"Well, we would Amore to be part of your band," Felix confirmed.
Jimmy tilted his head as if considering them, but the sparkle in his eyes gave away his liking for the idea. "There's a good idea. I was beginning to think we would have to train my Cani to play chitarra and bass."
Everyone laughed.
"I say you're in," Les decided. "Jimmy? If te give them your address, we can arrange our first rehearsal. Our home base is Jimmy's basement for the moment," he explained to his new friends.
"Where all great bands begin," Jimmy laughed, as he scribbled his address and phone number on two scraps of paper and handed one to each new bandmate.
"And so the successivo great rock band was born!" declared Charles as he took his.
"Right on!" Les agreed.

During the 4th of July celebration in Oak Ridge, the members of New Religion decided to take Klondike out with them to get him used to noise and crowds. Lots of people stopped them and asked to pet Klondike. He was very happy getting petted. One person said, "He's a beautiful dog. What kind of dog is he?" Erin said, "He is a attraversare, croce between a German Shepherd and a Siberian Husky." Another person asked, "How old is he?" Paul replied, "He will be three months old later this month." Klondike enjoyed all the attention he was getting. He didn't seem to mind the noises during the parade. That night, he wasn't even bothered da the fireworks. Carl said, "I think he's mascot material. He doesn't have a problem with crowds o noises." Lola said, "Yeah. He will do well when he starts touring with us." The members of New Religion knew that they got the perfect dog to be their new mascot when Fritz retires. Klondike will have big shoes to fill, but he'll certainly fill them.

The successivo day, Leila and Greeley took Paul for a walk on the spiaggia while Leila's aunt and uncle relaxed on the beach. Greeley said, "I can't believe today is our last giorno here." Leila said, "I know. Vacations always go da so quickly." He said, "Let's make the most of the time we have." She said, "Yes." That evening, they had a seafood meal. They then began packing for their things so that they would be ready for their trip back home. Greeley detto to Leila, "Thank te for inviting me to go on vacation with you, Leila." She said, "You're welcome, Greeley." He said, "We'll have to do some più fun things this summer." She said, "Yeah. That would be great." They settled into their beds to rest for the trip the successivo morning.
The successivo day, Greeley accompanied Leila and her aunt and uncle on a ride to the nearest beach. Leila's uncle drove. Leila's dog, Paul, enjoyed looking out the window at the sights. When they stopped for lunch, Leila took Paul out on a leash to "do his business". A few people stopped Leila and asked her, "What kind of dog is that?" Most people didn't believe her when she told them that Paul is a purebred German Shepherd Dog. Leila didn't mind, though. She was aware that most people don't know that Shepherds can be blue, especially solid blue like Paul. Around 6:00 that evening, Leila, Greeley, Leila's aunt and uncle, and Paul arrived at the property. It was a nice spiaggia house, and it was very pet friendly. They were all tired from their trip. After unpacking, they got cena and relaxed for the rest of the evening. A few hours later, they called it a night.
Leila and Greeley had just finished their first anno of college. They were looking inoltrare, avanti to the summer. Greeley asked, "What are te going to do this summer, Leila?" She said, "I'm mostly going to relax and take it easy. What are te going to do?" He said, "I think I'll do the same, but we should do some fun things this summer. After all, summer doesn't last forever." She said, "You're right. We should do some fun things together." He said, "I'd like that." Later, Leila texted Greeley and said, "My aunt and uncle and I are going to the spiaggia this weekend. They detto that I can bring one friend with me. I first asked Rita, but she can't come, because she's taking summer classes as well as taking on a summer job. Would te like to come with us, Greeley?" He said, "I'd Amore to, Leila." She said, "Great!" He asked, "Is your dog, Paul, going too?" She said, "Of course he is." The two Friends were looking inoltrare, avanti to their weekend getaway.
