Some of te may know that I post my drawings here, but I'm running out of ideas anyone want to suggest anything? I will also mention your name if I get around to doing your suggestion :)

te could draw scenes from the tv shows. Like this one from Operation Cooties.

Maybe te can draw a group of POM character with your OC that dressed with different national costume...

For example te can draw Hans with Danish traditional uniform (if there's any, but i don't know yet), Private with British royal Uniform, Skipper with America flagged T-Shirt o even King Julien with Madagascar costume (Like in Movie)...

hmm.... maybe te can draw Blowhole...but with an added twist. draw him as Flippy

Maybe try to creatate a charactor doing something no one would ever think of them doing! (example: Skipper watching Lunicorns)
