Like if someone hates Dawn and they can't seperate their feelings from that and will call her ugly. So you guys love her and you can't seperate your feelings from that so you are calling her gorgeous. And biased means (even though KataraLover has made a good example of it) is judging something based on what you think, and being completely unfair. This question is biased since people seem to hate Iris, and are judging her looks based off her personality, or what they think of her personality. Yes, I adore Iris, but that doesn't change the way I think of her looks. It just enhances my opinion of her looks. I always thought she was pretty from the start, and that Iris is made creatively. And you can't judge her because of her eyes. All characters from Unova have those type of eyes. Finally there is a character with a different eye color than blue (though Misty's were Green/Blue, or Blue/Green [her eyes were freaking awesome!]) and has a different skin-tone. I like that change.
