Bite...I never liked Crunch.

You don't have to hate her because I've always wondered why people think she's so hard to beat when I've never really had a problem with her.

And seriously? You didn't learn of ways to deal with attract by then when Flannery uses it before then? I definetly have even less of a problem with her by 4th gen, when Rollout was the whole problem during 2nd gen.

And you know, she was just able to get really good moves, because since she just started being a trainer, she obviously didn't know how good those moves would really be. The hint as to why I think she only started recently is because she said "Everyone was into Pokemon, so I got into it too!" It doesn't sound too likely that she got into it a long time ago if she said something like that. Find a way to beat her for once, it's easy if your more experienced than her, which by now, you should be.

And don't choose Cyndiquil, if you have that much trouble with her, (Because of Rollout, at least in Gen 2) like all those other people. I should ask people I know, like my freind, brother, and cousin, if she's really that hard to beat. She definetly isn't hard for me.

Sorry but I'm just clueless as to why that many people found her so hard to beat, maybe because they mostly train guy pokemon/didn't know she had such a good Rock Type move.

I take it back, choose Cyndiquil, and it will be much easier if you also have another pokemon trained by then. You know, to use Smokescreen.

If you use Totodile, Bite flinches Miltank a few times for me, and if you chose Chikorita, make sure to remember to use Poisonpowder. Thats my best advice, which only means, don't choose Totodile if your not that lucky at flinching.

She isn't to be hated, shes much too adorable and lovable and weak to be hated. All without actually saying it was Whitney... That proves I like her quite a lot, because it's obvious I'm talking about her. But like the other times in this comment I said it, I never really found her hard because at least against her, I don't only use damaging moves (Smokescreen and Poisonpowder are really useful moves)

Crunch is more powerful and Bite sounds rather boring
