I stepped out for the very first time, after this there was no going back. I told them I wanted to do this. Now I was regretting it... Big time. I will miss my Friends other than Emily who is coming with me. I wonder if she is feeling the same way as me. Life was so complicated for me.
I looked back to see my father and my mother putting on Ribelle - The Brave faces. I wonder how they felt seeing me go away for two years. I think they felt different, but somehow the same as me as well. Then I seen something darting between them. It was our ruby coloured King Charles Spaniel, Charm, it brought tears behind my eyes. I fought them until they went away. Charm jumped up on me I bent down to pet and cuddle her. She licked my face, that made me giggle, my mum smiled. i picked Charm up, cuddled her and handed her to my mum. My dad hugged me and handed me money. My mum left Charm into the house and she hugged me. She handed me a picture of our family. I smiled thanked them both and lifted my suitcases.
I was numb. I didn't know how much money my dad had dato me, nor did I want to. All I knew as my Friends red, convertibile, convertible AUDI turned around the corner was that my two years in Austrailia would be quite long and lonely.
