BlindBandit92 I actually would completely disagree with this entire post. What about individuality? I never said I was better than anyone. I would never say that. Because quite honestly it's very douchey and disrespectful to others. YES I hate society because I see the flaws in it and I wish to change it and one person can make a difference in changing this society but to really make a difference alot of people need to get together. Yes I hate my generation at times and at times I don't. Mainly because it seems 90% of them are complete and total morons. Some naive speakers of English fail to use it properly yet someone who isn't a naive someone uses it like it was from a dictionary. So many people in our society are idiots like that. I am not judging them but I do have my unique dislikes and likes. I wouldn't even compare myself to people I dislike even if like you say we have gone down different paths in life. If we have gone down different paths then we aren't so similar. People are different and then people are similar but I will not compare myself to people like that. Everyone can be similar and everyone can be different in a way but that doesn't mean we all don't have good reasons of our own to think the way we do and that again would be individuality. I am a product of society? That may be considering I am my mother and father's son and some of the things I do are based off of society (But not all) But that doesn't mean I do not hate it at times. You are of course free to have your opinion but I absolutely disagree with it.

BlindBandit92 And to point out something else again. Just because I don't compare myself to people I highly dislike at times doesn't mean I am thinking I am better than them. The only reason I may compare is because I am analyzing them in a logical manner but I won't say we are very similar unless that actually is the case and even then I don't necessarily like to do that.

ATV You can hate society in some of its levels but not the whole general thing. When people mention it, you just have to assume that they're talking about a certain idea in society. People are just broad about, nothing more to it. It just depends on the situation when a person makes this statement. Can you stay away from society? At some levels yes you can, but not the whole entire thing.

LaDispute @Blind: Tbh this was mostly based off this one person I was talking to on Tumblr, the shit about Beliebers and Jersey Shore, and it related to what she was saying so that's why I included it. Still though, while people go down different roads they're still forced by the same hand (society) and they still end up similarly internally fucked (thanks to society) and no matter where you end up you're still a part of society. Produced by it, part of it. And individuality? That's definitely a matter of personal opinion but I don't believe in it. Like when people (not directing this at you or anyone specific) think they're individual for hating society and having strong opinions about it - even that doesn't equal individuality. There are hundreds of thousands of people who have your opinions and your thoughts and basically the same experiences as you. And if you mean more narrowly, DNA may have slight variation but 99.999999999% similarity is a good chunk.

LaDispute @ATV: Good point, but one I already understood and considered. I know when people tend to say things like "I hate society" there's a specific instance they're responding to and they are generalizing, but I also know that A LOT of people actually do dislike it, on most or all levels (see Blind's post). This is a response to that kind of mentality.

ATV Well if I were to judge someone online, I wouldn't take that much thought into their entire being just because they said something I find annoying. I would simply ignore it if it annoys me in the slightest. I mean seriously fuck arguing online hah It doesn't go anywhere

blackpanther666 I don't agree. I hate society because I don't feel like I'm a product or a part of it. I'm not like everyone else... Almost everyone fits in to society one way, or another, but I don't... I'm the odd one out and probably always will be. Plus, I hate society because of the way it is, because of the shallow morals and the selfishness and greed of many members of humankind... You can I'm a part of it as much as you like, but it won't make it true and can't rationalise anything to convince me otherwise. The simple fact is, I could quite easily just leave and never be a part of society again... I feel more at home when I'm in the mountains, away from the city and away from others. I don't think this article applies to me. Plus, there are, and will, always be people that just don't fit with society...

prophet69 I completely agree with this article. You took the words right out of my mouth. I was thinking about this for a long time. I just did not know how to present it. I had a gut feeling that most of the people are going to disagree with me. I guess people here are not understanding your point. Anyway, I agree.
