te should never change who te are, o what te like, o your personality because someone else doesn't like it, o looks down their nose at you... but sometimes it is important to know and to care about what others think of you.

For example... if te wear makeup, o buy clothes that make te look good; if te are polite and te smile when someone smiles at you, then te care about what they think and this is a good thing.
