It sounds like you wouldn't want to make him angry.

If it doesn't stop and you know this guy from school or work I recommend she tell someone in a position of authority (a teacher or boss) that he is behaving inappropriately and making her uncomfortable. They would be able to deal with him more safely than either of you.

I also suggest she keeps the letters until she is sure the situation is dealt with and over, so she has proof of what has been going on.

Since she finds him physically intimidating she should never agree to go anywhere with just him or him and his friends, she should always have people with her while dealing with him.

Like I said, punch his stomach up his throat, a kick between the legs, scream at the top of her voice and tell him to beep off. If she's peaceful, just the last two.
