In a distant laboratory, all was silent. Not even the slightest whisper of sound dared penetrate the thick, peaceful yet intimidating silence. Suddenly, a green Pokemon stepped foreword. Its body was battered and bleeding, and its breathing was ragged and came in quick, raspy pants. The Pokemon gave all appearances of being a Pikachu, but its tail had a black tip and the black part on its ears poked out into triangles. “Haven’t te had enough?” Giovanni asked, smirking from his pertica, pesce persico in his leather chair as he watched in cold amusement the Pikachus’ flanks heave in effort to gain a precious breath of air to its exhausted lungs. “Over. My. Dead. Body.” It answered in an obviously male voice, grinning to reveal a mouth of sharp teeth though it was covered in bloody, gaping scratch wounds from the Persian that stood in front of Giovanni. “I’m sorry that it has come to this then, Scourge.” The Pikachu narrowed its eyes behind its red sunglasses. “What are te talking about? I’m fine.” He lied, lashing his tail in spite of the bleeding tear on the edge. Giovanni chuckled and threw a black collare with red spikes and an R dangling off it into the air. Scourge, not knowing what it was, watched as it fell to the floor. “Seriously? That’s it?” He turned, snickering to himself as he shocked the Persian with a green burst of electricity. Giovanni waited and snapped his fingers. Suddenly, the collare flew at Scourge. He leapt away and zapped Giovanni, who ignored the pain as the collare flew at his assailant from behind. Scourge heard it snap around his neck and tried to take it off, only to get kicked in the side da Giovanni. “Control Collar, activate.” All of a sudden, Scourges’ eyes became red and emotionless. His very free-will was sapped from his body and mind as the collare activated. “What can I do for you-“ He bowed, one hand on his stomach. As he lifted his head, a psychotic grin wound itself onto his face. “-Master?”
