Do you ever watch DBZ blaze trunks several against the android 17 and 18 trunks should be (dead) in that part but he several it when the final bro trunks several the impressive way I dont think silver cant do that plus trunks was training with vegeta trunks becomes light speed he when back at his own time in the future he fights the androids again they cant even see him and the androids are light speed too they still not fast enough too keep up with him I dont think Silver will not several against trunks he takes more beat in than Silver does

He fights for his future and people(I don't know about Trunks so I can't judge...) and even if he loses, it's not the end of the world...
